1. Project Planning, Design, and Coordination

6. Client and Stakeholder Communication

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

• Provide post-project support and address issues during the warranty period.
• Prepare invoices, receipts, and project documentation for future reference.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure the timely delivery of components and services.

7. Additional Responsibilities:

• Support the preparation of tenders, bids, and project proposals.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
• Valid PUB registered Licensed Plumber.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in project management, preferably in a similar industry.
• Understanding of pump systems, piping, and mechanical/electrical components.
• Familiarity with project management software and tools.

Job Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in Electrical Engineering works.
• Educational Qualifications: Diploma in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• Technical Expertise: Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, cabling works, and ELV/low-voltage systems.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with local electrical codes, authority requirements, and industry regulations to ensure compliance with standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Engineer Cum Quantity Surveyor - Oil & Gas Projects to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage and oversee construction projects within the Oil & Gas sector, ensuring compliance with specifications, safety standards, and project schedules. This role requires a strong technical background in civil engineering to deliver projects successfully.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate day-to-day construction activities, ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
• Develop and implement project schedules, coordinating manpower, machinery, and materials to meet deadlines.
• Prepare cost estimates, variation orders, as-built drawings, and other project documentation in accordance with client requirements.
• Monitor project budgets, progress claims, and cost control measures to ensure financial performance aligns with projections.
• Evaluate subcontractor claims, prepare payment certifications, and manage procurement processes including quotations and supplier evaluations.
• Collaborate with the planning team to track project milestones and ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, authorities, and stakeholders on technical, commercial, and site matters.
• Prepare and submit progress reports and monthly claims to clients, ensuring follow-up on approvals.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for site activities, project records, and financial data.
• Support the Project Manager and commercial team in strategic planning, decision-making, and project execution.

• Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, recognized by the Singapore Professional Engineers Board (PEB).
• Minimum 3 years of relevant local experience in oil & gas projects.
• Experience with underground utilities or similar site works is advantageous.
• Strong skills in project coordination and site supervision with a practical, hands-on approach.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams, clients, and consultants.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving ability with attention to detail and a focus on quality.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with project management tools.
• Knowledge of local regulatory approvals and compliance processes is an advantage.
• Preferably possess a valid Class 3 license.

Job Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Design

• To collaborate with respective sales staff to understand the sales order and client’s security needs and requirements.
• To collaborate with clients to confirm and understand their security needs and requirements.
• To reconfirm the security design and solutions, including CCTV, access control, intrusion detection and other security systems before executing the order.
• To develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• To manage contractors’ allocation, procurement of materials with Project Manager.

System Installation and Integration

• To oversee the installation of security systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
• To integrate various security systems.
• To conduct system testing and troubleshooting to ensure proper functionality.

Technical Support

• To address technical &malfunction issues of the system during hangover stage.
• To provide technical information to Service and Operations Team during handover stage.

Documentation and Reporting

• To prepare and maintain detailed and accurate documentation of assigned projects, including design plans and installation records.

Client Communication and Training

• To assist with system training sessions for clients or end-users on system operations and best practices.
• To prepare system training slides for internal and external training.

Compliance and Safety

• To ensure all security systems comply with the relevant regulations and standards.
• To implement safety protocols during installation and maintenance activities.
• To stay up to date on the latest advancements in security technology and industry trends.

Team Coordination and Management

• To coordinate with Project stakeholders, including subcontractors, vendors and internal teams
• To manage & monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to meet deadlines and budgets.
• To liaise with suppliers on equipment model and quotations.

Quality Assurance

• To conduct quality assurance checks to ensure systems meet performance standards.
• To implement best practices for security system installation and maintenance.
• To adhere to safety and health procedures and rules documented in ISO45001.

Job Requirements:

• Possess Higher Nitec and/or Diploma in Electronics and/or Electrical Engineering or relevant field.
• Possess minimum 2 years’ experience in site supervision and coordination with main contractors, and subcontractors.
