ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting function is responsible for all external financial reporting, including SEC periodic Filings, Quarterly earnings releases, 401(k), and investor relations presentations.  The role also serves and an internal consulting function to address complex transactions and issues faced by the business.  This role will assist the Director, SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting with:

• Support drafting of SEC filings in Workiva (Annual Form 10-K, Quarterly Form 10-Q, Quarterly Earnings Press Release on Form 8-K)
• Preparing or reviewing schedules to support financial statements and footnotes for SEC filings
• Preparing monthly journal entries and reconciling accounts for company's capital structure (debt and equity)
• Prepare monthly entries for share-based compensation and assist in preparing forecasts
• Assist foreign subsidiaries with statutory requests related to stock-based compensation
• Assist in calculation of actual Diluted Weighted Average counts and preparing forecasts
• File period U.S. Census reports for financial results
• Assist Tax in validating R&D expense recording
• Assist in monitoring and researching new accounting standards.
• Reviewing and monitoring corporate accounting policies and working with various stakeholders to implement changes when necessary to adapt to changes in the business, organization, or accounting standards to ensure that policies remain effective, efficient and compliant with GAAP.
• Preliminarily update assessment memos for complex accounting areas including impairment reviews, AR factoring, search for related party transactions, strategic investments, etc.
• Proofread and mechanically validate accuracy of financial statements, notes, or presentations.
• Assist in preparation of financial statements on notes for U.S. 401(k) Plan

• Collaborate as project team member on Software design matters.
• Capture and evaluate customer, internal requirements and vehicle specific interface requirements. Identify suitable concept in terms of functional, technological and effort.
• Adhere to Bosch Software Engineering Process as e.g.:-
  • Perform requirement reviews, design reviews and code reviews.
  • Perform unit testing and release of the software according to SW release process.
• Develop the SW design taking into consideration the dependencies to other module and integration into the overall system.
• SW programming using both standard and proprietary software tools and libraries.
• Create SW test specifications and protocols, if necessary develop test SW. Executes test plans to ensure new software meets specifications, functionalities and performance requirements.
• Analyze failure log, clarify system problems and resolve design issues.
• Develop and produce technical reports, design analysis and documentation in support of designs.
• Assist Manufacturing in troubleshooting manufacturing related problems.
• Provide post-production support.

Responsible for B2B integration system and implementing EDI onboard (Electronic Data Interchange). Ensuring smooth and success onboard adoption and continuous engagement with trading partners. This role works closely with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate onboarding activities. Understanding of EDI concept and working knowledge with RossetaNet and other exchange method standards to enable seamless data exchange between the organization and trading partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support and communicate with IT, Business and External Partners.
• Coordinate end-to-end onboarding process for new B2B trading partners.
• Prepare and validate onboarding documentation and required system setup.
• Work together with business to conduct onboarding sessions, communication for technical and business B2B specification. Including partner testing.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to interpret and or analyse especially during interface testing.
• Robust analytical skills to review and interpret business documents (FDS and FUT).
• Handle SAP IDOC mapping, Partner profile and output condition conversion configuration and interfaces testing.

• Develop embedded firmware which run on Bosch products.
• The developed embedded firmware shall base on test requirement from customer, internal engineering and manufacturing.
• The embedded firmware shall be able to interact with manufacturing and engineering test system via physical interface such as Serial, Ethernet, and USB
• Work closely with embedded firmware team in Malaysia and Germany in order to achieve common product development goal.
• Assist global engineering team to perform HW-SW integration bring up during development phases.
• Assist global manufacturing sites in troubleshooting manufacturing related problems.
• Provide postproduction and failure analysis support.
