Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Information Technology/Information Systems/Computer Science,

Business IT or its equivalent

• At least 5 years of experience in administration and implementation

• Good knowledge of the following, but not limited to:

o Firewall technologies (high availability, virtual firewall concept)

o IP load balancer

o Distribution and core switches

o Router configuration (high availability)

o LAN and WAN administration

• Good understanding of a services business in a high-tech environment from a supplier, integrator

or operator’s perspective

Key Accountabilities

• Manage, administer, configure, and provide technical support for network equipment (switches, wireless APs, firewalls, DNS appliances, UPS) and services, including VLANs, ACLs, firewall rules, DNS, and IP address management.
• Install, maintain, and upgrade network hardware firmware/software; apply patches, hotfixes, and manage vulnerability remediation.
• Take ownership of network problems, troubleshoot and resolve issues related to hardware, software, and firmware, performing on-site support as needed.
• Conduct daily system checks, monitor network services availability, and contribute to network health checks by analyzing alerts, statistics, and performance data.
• Manage and document all network device configurations, changes, and ensure weekly automated backups.
• Record network service outages and follow up on outstanding technical issues with vendors to ensure resolution within Service Level Agreement (SLA).
• Liaise effectively with ISPs, other service providers, and internal teams on operational matters.
• Assist and work with vendors with cabling management, including patching, documentation, 1st level troubleshooting of connections, and ensuring correct configuration/labeling of new outlets.
• Provide support for wireless configuration and surveys.
• Maintain comprehensive network documentation (diagrams, topologies, issues) and assist in proactive monitoring and monthly reporting for network resources.
• Conduct annual asset verification, track equipment movements (deployment, RMA, relocation, decommissioning), and update inventory records.
• Participate in network implementation and migration projects as required.
• Assist in supporting operational requirements such as power maintenance shutdowns, periodic system audits, and service validation.
• Adhere strictly to policies, rules, regulations, and IT security policies in all operational aspects.

Job Responsibilities:

• Support the technical team and construction team for all design matters.
• Review all technical documentation and drawings of the Project works.
• Work closely with consultant on the scope of services, design and project deliverables toenhance site efficiency and constructability.
• Manage design approval process and coordination with the clients, consultants andsubcontractors in a timely manner to resolve all technical issues.
• Ensure strict compliance of the design in accordance with contractual requirements.
• Identifies and highlight to management and project team of any potential risks or issues thatwill impact project performance.
• Support tender team and prepare technical tender documents as per specifications forbidding of civil and structural engineering projects as when assigned.

Job Description: 

• The System Engineer of System Operation is responsible to support the well running of enterprise system for the entire property. 
• This role requires an experienced system operation engineer with in-depth enterprise system technical expertise to operate the System Services. This role must also possess the ability to communicate and collaborate with various IT teams such as project managers, management and business leaders. 

Scope of Work:·  

• Reporting to the Senior Systems Manager, this role will be to support all aspects of the system operation services &ensure highest level of systems and infrastructure availability. 
• Provide support to all the Systems of the organization in Physical and Virtual Systems (Windows & Linux), InfraServices – Dir Services, Exchange, Share Point, System Centre Services, Storage and Backup.
• Knowledge of Database Services, Oracle Database& Microsoft SQL Database Administration.
• Identify and implement improvements on the operational monitors to measure system performance and capacity metrics.
• Work closely with Support vendor to support the IT Systems and Application according to the contractual requirement.
• Support 24x7 hours business operation, after office hours on-call support is expected.(Post implementation support)
• Share knowledge and solutions with team members/colleagues.

Key Qualifications/Requirements: ·  

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/MIS or equivalent experience. 
• More than 5 years of Enterprise IT experience including 3 years in Direct Systems Operation. 
• ITIL certification would be advantageous. 
• Experienced working in large and complex Systems Operation environment advantageous.
• Demonstrated advance technical skills in supporting enterprise systems operation, current and emerging technologies, and collaboration skills to work with diversified work groups. 
• In-depth System technical skills across multiple disciplines – x86 Platforms, Physical and Virtual Systems, Windows, Unix/Linux,MS SQL, Oracle, SAN Storage, SCCM, Backup, High Availability System and DR readiness, inter-network knowledge. 
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis abilities 
• Ensures the highest level of systems and infrastructure availability.
