Position Summary

As a Staff Software Engineer, you will lead the design and delivery of AI-driven solutions that enhance manufacturing efficiency and accelerate digital transformation, with a focus on Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) for the semiconductor industry.

In this role, you will provide technical leadership across projects, drive system architecture and engineering best practices, and guide engineering teams in building scalable, high-performance systems. You will play a key role in shaping technical strategy, mentoring engineers, and ensuring the reliability and scalability of high-transaction manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the technical architecture and design of MES solutions and AI-driven applications to support semiconductor manufacturing operations.
• Translate complex business and manufacturing requirements into scalable system architectures, technical designs, and implementation roadmaps.
• Provide technical leadership across multiple projects or modules, ensuring alignment with engineering standards, best practices, and organizational goals.
• Design and oversee development of front-end and backend MES features, ensuring high quality, performance, and maintainability.
• Drive the adoption of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps best practices to improve development efficiency and system reliability.
• Lead system integration, performance optimization, and scalability improvements for high-throughput manufacturing environments.
• Guide the team in resolving complex technical challenges, conducting root-cause analysis, and implementing long-term solutions to improve system resilience.
• Establish and maintain technical documentation, architecture guidelines, runbooks, and operational procedures to ensure maintainability and auditability.
• Identify and manage technical and delivery risks, propose mitigation strategies, and provide recommendations to stakeholders.
• Drive initiatives to reduce technical debt and improve platform architecture, engineering standards, and development processes.
• Act as a key technical advisor and liaison between engineering teams, product stakeholders, delivery teams, and client SMEs to align technical solutions with business objectives.
• Mentor and coach engineers, supporting their technical growth and promoting knowledge sharing and best practices within the engineering team.
• Contribute to technology strategy, innovation initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts within the organization.
• Support production operations and incident management for critical systems when required.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Company as and when required.

Qualifications & Skills

• At least a Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in full-stack Java development, preferably within the semiconductor manufacturing industry.
• Strong proficiency in Java technologies including Spring Boot, Spring MVC, JSF, Hibernate, and Object-Oriented Design (OOD).
• Experience with front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js, and core web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript).
• Familiarity with RESTful API development and integration.
• Solid experience with SQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or DB2.
• Knowledge of version control systems like GIT.
• Demonstrates technical leadership and mentorship, owns delivery and operational reliability for assigned MES modules, enforces quality standards and test coverage, and proactively reduces technical debt while collaborating across Product and Delivery teams.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices, and practical experience with automated testing (unit and integration).
• Familiarity with containerization and cloud deployment (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/Azure) is a plus.
• Demonstrated experience in production support (incident RCA, MTTR reduction), monitoring, and runbook creation.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Asthe AI Agent Architect / Senior Developer, you will be the core brain behindour flagship enterprise AI platforms. You will transition our systems frombasic LLM wrappers into autonomous, reasoning-capable AI ecosystems.

Yourprimary mission is to design and develop advanced Agentic workflows, buildrobust Knowledge Bases utilizing GraphRAG, and engineer complex multi-modaldata processing pipelines. You will ensure our AI solutions deliverexpert-level accuracy, deep contextual understanding, and enterprise-gradesecurity.

KeyResponsibilities

·      AdvancedRAG & Knowledge Base Engineering: Design and implement next-generation RAGsystems using Knowledge Graphs (GraphRAG), vector databases, and semanticsearch. Develop robust OCR pipelines for parsing complex, unstructureddocuments (e.g., contracts, compliance manuals) and multi-modal dataextraction.

·      AIAgent Architecture: Architect and deploy multi-agent systems (using frameworkslike LangChain, LlamaIndex, or AutoGen) where distinct AI agents can plan,reason, execute tools, and collaborate to solve complex enterprise tasks.

·      LLMIntegration & Optimization: Evaluate, fine-tune, and deploy various LargeLanguage Models (both closed-source like OpenAI/Anthropic and open-sourcemodels). Optimize prompts and reasoning chains to maximize accuracy andminimize latency.

·      Backend& Enterprise Integration: Build scalable backend services (primarily inPython, with Java/Spring Boot for legacy or enterprise integrations) to exposeAI capabilities via robust APIs.

·      Guardrails& Hallucination Mitigation: Implement strict logical guardrails, continuousevaluation frameworks, and "anti-hallucination" mechanisms to ensureall AI outputs are verifiable, strictly grounded in the proprietary knowledgebase, and compliant with enterprise security standards.

RequiredQualifications

·      Experience:3-5+ years in software engineering, with at least 1.5 - 2 years heavily focusedon LLM applications, generative AI, or complex NLP systems.

·      AI& Agent Frameworks: Deep hands-on experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, orsimilar multi-agent orchestration frameworks.

·      DataParsing & Knowledge Representation: Proven expertise in OCR technologies(e.g., unstructured.io, PaddleOCR) for complex PDF parsing, and strongexperience with Vector Databases (e.g., Milvus, Qdrant, Pinecone) and GraphDatabases (e.g., Neo4j).

·      ProgrammingMastery: Expert-level proficiency in Python (the primary language for the AIstack). Familiarity with Java/Spring Boot is highly preferred to ensureseamless integration with our existing backend ecosystem.

Position Summary

The Software Engineer will be responsible for supporting the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of automation solutions for smart factories / high-tech manufacturing lines. This role involves hands-on execution of automation tasks, integrating equipment with factory systems, troubleshooting connectivity issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions meet performance and quality goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in gathering operational requirements and executing technical tasks to support automation solution scopes.
• Develop, test, and implement automation scripts, components, and software integrations to enhance system performance.
• Integrate and test vision-based and spatial-sensing components to support automated inspection and equipment monitoring.
• Write and maintain ETL pipelines to collect, transform, and integrate equipment and MES data into usable formats.
• Maintain software version control, track configurations, and document changes to ensure traceability across automation systems.
• Write database queries and assist in maintaining automation-related databases (monitoring, backup, and recovery procedures).
• Follow established data governance standards, access procedures, and life cycle management guidelines.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve daily automation, equipment connectivity, and dataflow issues to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to support the successful delivery and integration of automation projects.

3.      Qualifications& Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• 3 years of experience in equipment automation (ideally in semiconductor, solar, or electronics manufacturing).
• Working knowledge of equipment interface protocols (SECS/GEM OPC UA, Modbus, etc.).
• Hands-on experience diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware/software connectivity to equipment.
• Experience with PLCs, control systems, sensors, actuators, robotics.
• Proficiency in programming languages (C, C++, C#, Python, VB,Golang, Java, etc.).
• Basic understanding of MES / factory systems integration and IoT/ data connectivity.
• Familiarity with relational databases and writing basic SQLqueries (Oracle, DB2, SQL, Postgresql, MySQL).
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
• Willingness to travel between sites on project assignments.
