Job Title: Failure Analysis Engineer

Gross Salary Range: $ 3,000.00 - $4,500.00 Monthly

Qualifications: Bachelor, preferred with surface analysis experience (such as TOF-SIMS,  FTIR, AFM, XPS, AES, etc.).

Job Description:

•             Being able to operate analytical instruments in lab environment and conduct analysis for various customers independently;

•             Being able to prepare samples in needs and ensure the quality of the work and trouble-shoot the causes when problem occurs;

•             Being able to write analytical reports;

•             Being able to work in afternoon/evening shift or night shift;

•             Document new failure analysis operating procedures, training and certification specs;

•             Communicate with customer for selecting proper analytical techniques and data interpretation;

•             Participate in ISO17025 in maintaining the system

Job Requirements:

•             Bachelor or above in Material Science, Physics, analytical Chemistry or related science. Surface analysis experience (such as TOF-SIMS, FTIR, AFM, XPS, etc.) is preferred;

•             Being able to work afternoon/evening shift or night shift if required

•             Hands-on sample preparation experience for various analysis;

•             Team player with strong work ethic and able to thrive independently as well; strong problem-solving skills;

•             Strong language and reporting skills;

Job Description

• Industry/ Organization Type: Ground Engineering
• Position Title: Reinforced Concrete (RC) Engineer
• Working Location: Islandwide (Office located near City Hall MRT)
• Working Hours: 5.5 days, (Monday – Friday, 9 AM – 6 PM; Saturday, 9 AM – 1 PM) or 5 days + Alt Saturday (9 AM – 6 PM)
• Salary Package: Basic Salary + AWS + Allowances + Variable bonus
• Duration: Permanent Role

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate all reinforced concrete (RC) works for tunnelling, including base slabs, tunnel walls, linings, and shafts.
• Plan and manage concrete casting activities, ensuring proper sequencing and efficient use of resources.
• Prepare and follow up on Requests for Inspection (RFI) and coordinate inspections with consultants and relevant authorities.
• Conduct and support site inspections for reinforcement, formwork, and concrete works.
• Monitor site progress and update progress reports to ensure alignment with the master schedule.
• Ensure all RC works meet design specifications and quality management requirements.
• Work closely with site supervisors, subcontractors, and QA/QC teams to resolve site issues promptly.
• Coordinate with planning and procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, casting activities, and technical submissions

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in reinforced concrete works.
• Good knowledge of concrete works, formwork systems, reinforcement detailing, and casting sequences for LTA projects.
• Able to read and understand structural drawings and technical specifications.
• Familiar with site documentation such as RFIs, inspection checklists, method statements, and progress reports.
• Able to work independently and perform effectively in a fast-paced site environment.
• Strong communication and coordination skills when working with project teams and consultants.
• Experience in infrastructure projects will be an advantage

Key Responsibilities

• Primarily support night shift operations during pipe roofing works.
• Take charge of shift operations on site, acting as the representative of the main contractor.
• Report directly to the Senior Engineer overseeing the designated work area during pipe roofing activities.
• Supervise subcontractors to ensure compliance with all project procedures, safety standards, and work requirements.
• Monitor site activities to ensure works are carried out according to approved plans and specifications.
• Coordinate with site teams to maintain smooth workflow and timely progress of works.

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in LTA projects, preferably in rail-related works.
• Have proven experience in pipe roofing with micro tunnelling machine.
• Willingness to work night shifts.
