Job Description & Requirements

You will be responsible to provide an excellent and consistent level of service to your customers. The Technician is responsible to assist in the smooth and efficient running of the Engineering Department in support of all other operating departments.

Qualification in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering and/or Building Management/Facilities Management

Minimum 2 years work experience as Technician/Tradesman in a hotel or a similar large building/complex with central plant

Must have knowledge and hands-on skills in, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, and Painting.

4 off days monthly, rest days depend on schedule. able to work long hours and late in evenings and weekends

Competitive salary 3k and above

Perform engineering duties such as design, engineering calculations, planning, tender preparation/evaluations as part of the engineering project team

QA/QC documentation of engineering deliverables

Liaison with clients, project managers, architects, contractors

Assist in resolving any technical problems faced during project design and/or construction stages

Any other required duties as required by the Project Team.

Minimum Qualifications/ Experience/Skills

Graduate in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.

Advanced skills using company software

Proven ability to communicate well in written and verbal communications

Design thinking for product inventions and enhancements

Motivation and commitment to providing interpersonal customer service

Knowing and applying current industry standards and information

Soft skills including a positive attitude, flexibility and conflict resolution

The ability to solve problems creatively on time

Having up-to-date knowledge and technical skills

Collaboration with cross-functional teams and clients for commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of SCADA/PLC, Machine Vision and automation systems

· Interpretation of control schematics and wiring diagrams in support of system design, integration, and commissioning activities

· Co-ordination , work with sub-contractors on software/hardware development plans

· Development/preparation and maintain documentation related to system configurations, test plans, and maintenance protocols.

Requirement

· Working knowledge of PLC systems, industrial networking and architecture.

· Familiar with Factory automation sensors and equipment such as Photo-electric, Inductive, Rotary encoders, Laser range finding sensors, LIDAR

· Basic knowledge of SCADA, IT networking, IP Cameras, NVRs, Electrical wiring , Machine vision, Robotics and motion control systems

· Must be analytical and detailed.

· Willing to learn and adapt a new technology quickly

· Occasional overseas travel work assignments at customer site

Qualifications:

· Degree/Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Robotics, Automation, Mechatronics or a related field.

· At least 1 year working experience in PLC and Automation systems.
