The purpose of the role is to install, maintain, inspect and repair automotive testing equipment at customer sites, ensuring optimal performance, compliance, and customer satisfaction. The Field Service Engineer plays a key role in ensuring that all systems meet our applicable standards and contribute to safe and compliant vehicle testing operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Installation & Commissioning
• Install and commission new automotive testing equipment at customer sites.
• Ensure correct setup, calibration and functionality in line with company standards.
• Support customers during the initial use and handover of systems.
2. Maintenance & Inspection
• Carry out preventive maintenance and statutory inspections on installed equipment.
• Work in accordance with Singapore Health & Safety regulations and company procedures.
• Complete and maintain accurate service and compliance documentation.
3. Troubleshooting & Repairs
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical and software-related faults.
• Perform on-site repairs to restore equipment functionality with minimal downtime.
• Escalate complex technical issues and support root cause analysis where required.
4. Customer Support & Service
• Act as the face of Company at customer locations.
• Provide technical advice and support to customers on the safe and effective use of equipment.
• Deliver a high standard of customer service and build strong working relationships.
