Job Summary

Manage and coordinate property maintenance, renovations, and tenant relations to ensure operational efficiency, safety compliance, and budget control within the facility.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and oversee preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs to ensure building systems operate efficiently and safely
• Coordinate renovation and construction activities with contractors and tenants to meet project timelines and quality standards
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, M&E systems, and building assets for operational transparency and compliance
• Support energy-saving and waste management initiatives to promote sustainability within the property
• Ensure adherence to safety and compliance protocols, including emergency and fire safety procedures, to protect occupants and assets
• Manage maintenance budgets and monitor timely recovery of rental and utility costs to optimize financial performance
• Address tenant issues promptly and maintain accurate records to enhance tenant satisfaction and retention
• Supervise staff performance and training to maintain high operational standards and team effectiveness
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Property Manager to support overall property management objectives

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma in Facilities Management, Building Services, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in property or facilities management
• Knowledge of building systems, safety regulations, and vendor management

Roles & Responsibilities 

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the energy and sustainability sector. Develop and implement strategies to penetrate new markets and expand the company's client base. 

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions to meet their energy and sustainability objectives. 

• Lead the preparation of high-quality proposals and presentations for prospective clients, showcasing our expertise in energy management and sustainability solutions.

• Utilize knowledge of the Green Mark Certification process to guide clients through the certification journey, ensuring compliance with standards and achieving desired ratings.

• Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities in the energy and sustainability sector.

Requirements 
 
A successful candidate for this position must be able to fulfill each required responsibility properly. This position requires a good background in engineering, energy, and/or sustainability, as well as a strong interest and motivation in the disciplines of Energy and Sustainability. Success requires the ability to learn new topics and adapt to different environments. 

• Bachelor degree in a related technical subject or in Business (e.g. Engineering, Sustainability, Energy, project facilities management, projects, Building, Facilities Management, Building Services)  

• Familiar with Green Mark Certification & HVAC Retrofit is preferred 

• 3-5 years of experience in delivering sustainability consulting projects, green building projects, or in a related role is preferred 

• ACMV knowledge is preferred 

• Excellent communication abilities, including report writing and visual and verbal presentation approaches, as well as the ability to read and comprehend reports and technical drawings. 

• Interest in energy & sustainability.

We are hiring an experienced Safety Officer (WSHO) to oversee site safety, compliance, and environmental health for construction projects.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with WSH regulations, statutory requirements, and company safety policies
• Review and improve Safety Management Systems in line with local legislation
• Conduct safety training, toolbox meetings, and WSH committee meetings
• Perform site audits, inspections, and risk assessments
• Enforce safety rules and take corrective actions for non-compliance
• Investigate incidents and implement preventive and corrective measures
• Liaise with authorities and stakeholders on safety matters
• Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and submission of safety records

Salary

• Actively identifying, developing and securing new facilities management business opportunities
• Establish relationships with potential customers and service partners,and to identify and develop new and existing business opportunities.

Responsibilities:

• Asset and inventories registration, verifying, tracking the asset and updating the asset information.
• Asset and inventories disposal, checking the Net Book Value of asset, preparing the paperwork to seek HoD’s approval in the write-off and initiate the disposal process.
• Maintain accurate records of the client's assets and inventories, including acquisition, transfers, and disposals of the client's assets in line with QEHS requirements.
• Assist in conducting regular physical asset audits and reconciling discrepancies.
• Collaborate with various teams to gather asset information and update the asset database.

Electrical Senior/Quantity Surveyor | Up to $6K | North

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced M&E Senior/Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in cost estimation and quantity surveying for Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) works, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.

You will play a key role in cost management, tendering, contract administration, and project financial control, ensuring projects are delivered within budget while maintaining quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for M&E systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection works
• Assist in developing overall project costing and budget planning
• Prepare and issue tender documents for M&E works
• Evaluate tender submissions and provide recommendations based on cost, quality, and compliance
• Analyse M&E drawings and specifications to identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality
• Support contract administration for M&E-related works
• Conduct site measurements, verify quantities, and prepare interim valuations for progress claims
• Assess and manage variations and change orders, providing cost impact analysis and justifications
• Identify potential risks in M&E works and recommend mitigation strategies

Qualifications & Requirements

• Degree / Diploma / Specialist Diploma / Advanced Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, M&E Engineering, or equivalent from a recognised institution
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry
• Experience in M&E cost estimation is highly advantageous
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team
