Position: Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Independent Design: Perform structural design and analysis of building, infrastructure, or industrial projects.
• Drafting Coordination: Provide clear instructions and check drawings produced by draftsmen
• Coordination: Liaise with architects, clients, and contractors to resolve design conflicts and site issues. Attend to site inspections and site meetings
• Regulatory Submissions: Prepare and submit designs to local authorities for approval.
• Others: Able to travel and attend to outstations jobs as required.

Recruitment Criteria

• Education & Experience
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering from a recognized university.
• Registration: Must be registered with Board of Engineer Malaysia (BEM) as Graduate Engineer or be in the process of obtaining a Professional Engineer (PE) license
• Experience:
• 1-3 years of relevant working experience in a Civil & Structural consultancy firms.
• Must have experience in both structural and infrastructure design projects.
• Experience in handling mid-rise or high-rise structure design and authority submissions.
• Site Experience: Proven experience in site coordination, inspection, or construction management is strongly preferred.

2. Technical Skills & Design Proficiency

• Structural Analysis: Sound understanding of structural behaviour, load path, and analysis for concrete, steel, and foundation design.
• Software Proficiency:
• Modelling/Drafting: High proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit (BIM)
• Analysis: Proficiency in industry design software, such as ETABS, STAAD.Pro, TEKLA, ESTEEM, Prota Structure, CYPE
• General: Advanced Microsoft Excel for calculations.
• Codes & Standards: In-depth knowledge of local and international design codes (e.g. Eurocodes, ACI, AISC,BS)
• Deliverables: Ability to produce detailed calculations, technical reports, and design drawings.
• Quantity Estimation: Experience in preparing Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and cost proposals.

Key Responsibilities:

A. Product & Textile Design

• Develop original patterns, prints, motifs, and design concepts for garments, hijabs, scarves, and related textile products.
• Prepare design proposals, mock-ups, and presentation visuals for internal review and approval.
• Translate brand direction, product themes, and market trends into commercially viable designs.
• Adapt artwork and patterns into production-ready files where required.
• Work closely with management, production, and merchandising teams to ensure designs are aligned with product strategy and manufacturing requirements.

B. Branding & Creative Design

• Design creative materials for branding, campaigns, promotions, events, packaging, catalogues, and other corporate or product-related use.
• Ensure consistency in visual identity across all online and offline materials.
• Support the creation of corporate presentation materials, proposals, flyers, posters, and digital assets.

C. Marketing & Social Media Support

• Develop visual content for social media platforms, digital campaigns, and online promotions.
• Assist in planning and producing engaging content aligned with marketing objectives.
• Support basic copy ideation, campaign visuals, and content layout for social media and digital channels.
• Monitor design and content trends relevant to fashion, retail, lifestyle, and Muslimah markets where applicable.

D. AI-Enabled Workflow & Productivity

• Use AI tools, including ChatGPT and other approved tools, to improve design ideation, content generation, campaign planning, workflow efficiency, and internal productivity.
• Support the team in applying AI-assisted methods for faster turnaround of creative and marketing tasks.
• Maintain good judgment in using AI to support, not replace, originality, brand alignment, and commercial quality.

E. Coordination & Execution

• Manage multiple creative tasks and deadlines in a lean operating environment.
• Maintain organized design files, templates, and content assets.
• Coordinate revisions and feedback efficiently with relevant stakeholders.
• Undertake other related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

Education

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Textile Design, Fashion Design, Visual Communication, Multimedia Design, or related field.

Experience

• Minimum 2–4 years of relevant working experience in graphic design, textile/fashion design, or related creative field.
• Proven experience in designing patterns/prints for garments, hijabs, scarves, or related products is strongly preferred.
• Experience in digital marketing or social media content creation is an added advantage.

Technical Skills

• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Canva, and other relevant design software.
• Strong capability in layout design, pattern design, colour coordination, and visual storytelling.
• Familiarity with social media design formats and digital content requirements.
• Working knowledge of AI tools such as ChatGPT is a must.
• Knowledge of video editing or motion graphics is an added advantage.

The Product Design Engineering Technologist develops robust head-media interfaces for magnetic recording media, which will be integrated into Western Digital's hard disk drive products. This critical role involves collaborating with R&D and worldwide teams to innovate and productize recording media designs. This role requires strong technical expertise and the ability to manage complex manufacturing systems while ensuring defect mitigation, quality assurance, and reliability standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop head-media interface designs that meet product performance requirements and scale into high-volume manufacturing environments.
• Improve hard disk sputtering processes to reduce defects and enhance manufacturing yield.

We are looking for a Performance Creative Video Editor, Paid Social who can turn raw UGC, talking-head footage, product clips, client assets, AI-generated b-roll, and social references into engaging, platform-native ads.

Most of our creative is built for Meta, so this role is ideal for someone who understands paid social ads, direct response creative, UGC-style editing, short-form hooks, and fast creative iteration.

This is not just a “make it look nice” editing role. We are looking for someone who understands the difference between a beautiful edit and an effective ad.

You should be able to look at a video and think:

“Where would someone drop off?”
“How do we make the hook stronger?”
“Does this feel native to the platform?”
“Does the edit support the angle?”
“Is this persuasive from a consumer’s perspective?”

You will work closely with creative strategists, media buyers, and creative directors to edit paid social ads for ecommerce brands. The ideal candidate has strong instincts around hooks, pacing, retention, direct response structure, captions, audio, b-roll, AI tools, and what makes content feel native to platforms like Meta, Instagram, and TikTok.

You should also be comfortable using AI tools to improve the creative process. This may include generating natural-looking filler footage, creating product b-roll, producing AI voiceovers, transcribing scenes, analyzing competitor ads, or speeding up editing workflows.

What You’ll Do

Edit Paid Social Ads

• Edit performance-driven video ads for Meta, Instagram, TikTok, Reels, and other short-form platforms
• Turn raw UGC, talking-head footage, testimonials, product demos, founder content, and creator-style clips into finished ads
• Create multiple hooks, angles, and video variations for creative testing
• Build strong first-three-second hooks with visual impact
• Repurpose existing footage into new ad concepts and variations
• Make videos feel native to the platform, not like overproduced brand commercials

Bring Direct Response Creative Instincts

• Edit videos around direct response structures such as problem, agitation, solution, proof, and CTA
• Match the editing style to the footage, offer, brand, and creative angle
• Know when an ad should feel organic, handheld, raw, and native
• Know when an ad should feel more polished, premium, or brand-forward
• Use pacing, captions, pattern interrupts, b-roll, visual proof, and sound to keep people watching
