Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Sales to lead the strategic planning and execution of all sales and revenue generating initiatives for PARKROYAL Penang Resort. The Sales Manager reports to Sales & Marketing Director. He or She will use extensive knowledge in the chemical sector and its application on dry mortar products to sell white cement to the company’s existing and new client. About the Role We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to join our growing law firm. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the firm’s financial records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and assisting in the administration of both office and client accounts.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting functions for both Office Account and Client Account.
• Prepare payment vouchers, receipts, journal entries and bank reconciliations.
• Process supplier payments, staff claims and reimbursements.
• Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Assist in preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and filing systems.
• Perform client account reconciliations and ensure compliance with the relevant legal and accounting regulations.
• Liaise with lawyers, secretaries, auditors, tax agents and banks on accounting matters.
• Assist with annual audit, tax filing and statutory compliance.
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years’ accounting experience (experience in a law firm is an advantage).
• Knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Good understanding of double-entry accounting principles.
• Meticulous, responsible and able to meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team. Preferred Experience
• Experience handling legal firm’s Office Account and Client Account.
• Familiarity with legal billing, trust/client money reconciliation and SST requirements will be an added advantage.
