ROLE OVERVIEW

Interior architecture and FF&E run through the heart of WeCraft’s work. We are seeking an Intermediate Interior & FF&E Designer to take independent ownership of that scope, freeing senior capacity while raising the quality and pace of delivery. You will work closely with, and to the creative direction of, the Interior & FF&E Director, interpreting and extending WeCraft’s design language across your packages while exercising sound independent judgement.

You will develop interior-architectural design from concept through construction-ready documentation, design and specify furniture, fixtures and equipment, source materials and finishes to brief and budget, and work closely with the Maison WeCraft procurement team to bring schemes to life. You will also begin to guide our junior interior designer and coordinate with the offshore technical-design bench.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

—  Own interior-architectural design and documentation from concept to detailed construction and procurement sets, meeting client brief, budget and programme.

—  Design, select and specify FF&E; prepare FF&E schedules, finish boards and specifications for procurement.

—  Develop millwork, joinery and bespoke detailing in line with WeCraft’s craft-led design language.

—  Source materials, finishes and furnishings to specification and budget, coordinating with Maison WeCraft on procurement and lead times.

—  Produce and coordinate drawings, BIM models and visualisations, and assemble coordinated DD and CD sets.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

—  At least 5–7 years of continuous professional interior-architectural experience, ideally including high-end residential and/or hospitality. Internships do not count towards the years of experience.

—  Demonstrated FF&E design, specification and sourcing experience, and command of DD/CD documentation.

—  Strong eye for materials, finishes and bespoke detailing; appreciation of craftsmanship and fabrication.

Summary:

The Architectural Graduate will assist senior architects in the design and development of projects, prepare design proposals, and oversee design development and project management, including submissions to local authorities, construction documentation, and contract administration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Involvement in project works from inception to completion
• Responsible for planning, designing and implementing airport related projects in the local and overseas market
• Create innovative high-quality architectural designs and design solutions including conceptualization, preparation of plans/ graphics/ documentation/write-ups, specifications and all other project related materials
• Work with internal & external stakeholders e.g. clients, consultants, contractors and workers on various design issues, submissions and the execution of the site works
• Monitor project progress to ensure projects are carried out within contract agreement and schedule
• Attend project / technical / consultant meetings where required
• Any other duties as and when assigned e.g. Design competition
• Checks plans and submissions against statutory requirements.
• Co-ordinates and monitors follow up to authority

Requirements

• Degree in Architecture from a recognized tertiary institution
• At least 1 years of local work experience
• Eligibility for Professional Architectural accreditation is an advantage
• Good project management, excellent communication, and coordination skills
• Well versed in Revit/ArchiCad/BIM, Autocad, Sketchup, PhotoShop and Office software. Knowledge of Revit is an advantage
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Able to communicate effectively in the written, oral and graphic form
• Able to multi-task and with good time management
• Conversant with Local Authorities’ regulations and compliances

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with set designers and producers to develop lighting design solutions for TV productions, outdoor broadcast recordings, and live telecasts
• To provide both creative and operational expertise in lighting ensuring the production meets the company's visual and aesthetics standards.

• Diploma or NITEC in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or related.
• 3-6 years of experience in the lighting industry.
• Proficiency in lighting/AV software, AutoCAD, Vectorworks, and computer graphics rendering.
• Knowledge of and ability to program using ETC Apex console, GrandMA 2 or 3, and Avolites.
• Knowledge of electrical systems including Single Line Diagrams, load distribution and compliance with EMA/BCA regulations.
• Possess in-depth knowledge in the TV & Stage Lighting Industry.
• Knowledge of TV broadcast operations, including video, audio, lighting and electrical systems.
