ABOUT WECRAFT GROUP
WeCraft Group is a boutique, multi-disciplinary design house working across architecture, interior design, product and furniture design, project management and innovation consulting, headquartered in Singapore. Our work spans high-end residential, hospitality, yacht interiors, lifestyle retail, restaurant and bar design, and bespoke product design. We are dedicated to transforming inventive ideas into high-quality, functional environments, realised through a global network of exceptional artisans, fabricators and collaborators.
OUR VISION
“We create environments of stellar quality, guiding the manifestation of dreams through inventive craftsmanship, supported by a global network of exceptional artisans, fabricators and collaborators.”
ROLE OVERVIEW
Interior architecture and FF&E run through the heart of WeCraft’s work. We are seeking an Intermediate Interior & FF&E Designer to take independent ownership of that scope, freeing senior capacity while raising the quality and pace of delivery. You will work closely with, and to the creative direction of, the Interior & FF&E Director, interpreting and extending WeCraft’s design language across your packages while exercising sound independent judgement.
You will develop interior-architectural design from concept through construction-ready documentation, design and specify furniture, fixtures and equipment, source materials and finishes to brief and budget, and work closely with the Maison WeCraft procurement team to bring schemes to life. You will also begin to guide our junior interior designer and coordinate with the offshore technical-design bench.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
— Own interior-architectural design and documentation from concept to detailed construction and procurement sets, meeting client brief, budget and programme.
— Design, select and specify FF&E; prepare FF&E schedules, finish boards and specifications for procurement.
— Develop millwork, joinery and bespoke detailing in line with WeCraft’s craft-led design language.
— Source materials, finishes and furnishings to specification and budget, coordinating with Maison WeCraft on procurement and lead times.
— Produce and coordinate drawings, BIM models and visualisations, and assemble coordinated DD and CD sets.
— Participate in client meetings and presentations; gather, interpret and integrate feedback.
— Guide and check the work of the junior interior designer and coordinate with offshore Technical Designers.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
— Degree in Interior Architecture / Interior Design or Architecture from an accredited institution.
— At least 5–7 years of continuous professional interior-architectural experience, ideally including high-end residential and/or hospitality. Internships do not count towards the years of experience.
— Demonstrated FF&E design, specification and sourcing experience, and command of DD/CD documentation.
— Strong eye for materials, finishes and bespoke detailing; appreciation of craftsmanship and fabrication.
— Sound understanding of consultant coordination; familiarity with Singapore codes an advantage.
— Eligible to work in Singapore (Citizen / PR, or eligible for a valid work pass).
TECHNICAL & SOFTWARE PROFICIENCY
Revit (fluent), AutoCAD, SketchUp and/or Rhino, Enscape / V-Ray, and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator). FF&E scheduling / specification tools welcome.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE (FIRST 6–12 MONTHS)
— Independently delivers coordinated interior and FF&E packages with minimal senior rework.
— Becomes a dependable point of coordination with the procurement team and consultants.
— Begins to guide the junior designer and contributes to studio quality and standards.
COMPENSATION
SGD 4,200 – 5,800 per month, commensurate with experience and portfolio.
The full benefits and overall compensation package is discussed with the selected candidate.
WHAT WE LOOK FOR
Beyond technical skill, we hire for attitude. The people who thrive at WeCraft are:
— Hungry — driven, proactive and eager to grow; you take ownership and push work forward rather than wait to be told.
— Strong problem-solvers — resourceful and resilient, working through design and technical challenges to propose practical solutions.
— Team players — collaborative, communicative and generous, strengthening studio culture across our Singapore, Philippines and wider international teams.
