Job Requirement

*Male preferred; reliable and punctual.

*Minimum qualification: SPM.

*Possess LF forklift driving license.

*Experience as Forklift Driver in warehousing environment.

*Proficient in BM and basic English.

Job Responsibilities

As a Forklift Driver, you will be responsible for the role in the warehousing facilities:

*Forklift driving of goods/cargoes in the warehouse area.

*Receiving and dispatching of freight/cargoes.

*Perform loading and unloading of goods/consignments.

*Picking and packing of orders using RF scanning.

*Perform Inventory checks, ensure all stock is placed accordingly.

Role Description: 

•Responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse to support Konecranes’ 
Industrial Service & Equipment business in Malaysia. This role ensures safe, efficient, and accurate handling of  spare parts, components, and equipment for overhead cranes, while maintaining compliance with company standards, policies, and safety regulations.

Key Tasks : 
• Supervise day-to-day warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of      crane components and spare parts. 
• Responsible for posting goods receipt and goods issue transactions in the SAP system. 
• Ensure all deliveries to internal and external customers are accurate and properly documented. 
• Provide a timely supply of spare parts and materials for crane servicing, maintenance, and installation       projects. 
• Coordinate packaging arrangements with third-party service providers according to customer requirements. 
• Lead weekly toolbox meetings and share the latest safety requirements. 
• Conduct regular safety briefings, risk assessments, and promote a safety-first culture. 
• Responsible for ensuring the proper use and maintenance of warehouse equipment and arranging   calibration in accordance with established procedures to maintain compliance with operational standards. 
• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly audits of the warehouse equipment checklist in accordance with HSE 
  requirements. 
• Enforce warehouse safety standards, housekeeping, and compliance with local regulations and Konecranes’ global EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) policies. 
• Strictly adhere to Konecranes ISO and QMS policies. 
• Conduct regular cycle counts and stock audits to ensure alignment with physical inventory. 
• Fully involved in year-end stock take preparation, assisting auditors with stock counting, and ensuring 
  compliance with stock take policies. 
• Manage warehouse space efficiently by regularly checking and arranging stock for optimal space     utilization. 
• Responsible for ensuring all stock release documents are properly acknowledged by the receiver in     accordance with warehouse procedures, and for filing these documents as instructed for auditing purposes. 

• Oversee manpower allocation for scrap collection activities and monitor the delivery of the collected scrap.  
• Lead, supervise, and train warehouse staff to ensure efficient performance and adherence to procedures.  
• Develop and motivate team members, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.  
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance warehouse efficiency and accuracy.  
• Support lean practices and continuous improvement initiatives within warehouse operations & KPI.  
• Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes and reduce costs.  
• Collaborate with Service, Procurement, and Logistics teams to streamline supply chain processes.  
• Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the superior.  

Awareness of ISO 14001 and 45001 standards

• Support and monitor MRP and forecast updates in the planning system.
• Participate in monthly Demand Review Meetings and support sales forecast planning with Sales and Target Market teams.
• Monitor inventory levels and product availability to support sales demand and working capital targets.
• Follow up on replenishment activities, Purchase Orders, and supplier deliveries to ensure timely supply.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Warehouse, and other internal teams on planning and supply related matters.
• Support order management and planning activities for Inter Company and 3rd Party products.
• Identify slow moving items and coordinate with relevant stakeholders for follow up actions.
• Ensure planning activities are carried out in accordance with company procedures and ISO standards.

This person is responsible for ensuring the efficient, safe, and accurate management of warehouse operations, including inventory control, stock movement, logistics coordination, and continuous process improvement.

This role plays a key part in maintaining stock accuracy, optimizing storage utilization, and ensuring timely delivery of finished goods in line with company and customer requirements.

1. Warehouse Operations & Inventory Control

• Oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and dispatching of goods.
• Ensure accurate stock levels through regular cycle counts and joint stock count exercises, reconciling any discrepancies promptly.
• Monitor stock movement, product shelf life, and expiry to minimize losses and ensure effective inventory turnover.
• Enforce the First-In-First-Out (FIFO) process for all stock handling and ensure compliance across all teams.
• Maintain accountability for stock count accuracy and reporting.

2. Documentation & Verification

• Generate and review delivery order forms, ensuring accuracy before dispatch.
• Verify and process transporter invoices in accordance with delivery records and agreed terms.
• Ensure all documentation related to inbound and outbound goods is properly recorded and filed for audit compliance.

3. Logistics Coordination

• Collaborate with internal departments and transporters to plan and execute delivery schedules efficiently.
• Support inter-plant coordination for finished goods storage and movement, ensuring smooth transfer between sites.
• Follow up on customer feedback and complaints related to delivery issues, providing timely resolutions.

4. Process & Storage Optimization

• Participate in strategic planning for warehouse layout, racking systems, and storage optimization to improve space utilization and material flow.
• Support strategic monitoring of interplant finished goods storage to ensure optimal distribution and minimal congestion.
• Plan and implement 5S activities to maintain workplace organization, cleanliness, and operational efficiency.

5. Safety & Compliance

• Ensure full compliance with warehouse safety standards and procedures.
• Maintain accountability for safety practices within the warehouse, promoting a culture of safe working habits and incident prevention.
• Report and address any safety hazards or near misses promptly.

6. Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost efficiency within warehouse and logistics operations.
• Contribute to operational planning and provide insights for warehouse performance reporting.
