  • Accomplish weekly deliverables, such as:

  • Keep employees in the loop for any internal and external updates
  • Have Team participate on Site and Program employee engagement activities
  • Come up with Team level mini engagement activities to hype morale

This position is responsible for supporting the Sales Manager in sales activities in line with the annual sales and marketing plan and to achieve/exceed budget in executing the sales strategy of the Hotel.   

• Maintain complete knowledge of the following (to include but not limited to): 
• All hotel features / services, hours of operation  
• Hotel function space, entertainment options, menus and floral decoration options 
• Hotel safety guidelines and evacuation plan 
• Scheduled daily group activities 
• Answer incoming phone calls in a pleasant manner using Hotel’s telephone etiquette guidelines. Handle telephone enquiries according to departmental procedure 
• Coordinate all group arrangements 
• Work with group contacts to facilitate program planning and requirements 
• Communicate group needs and specifications to all relevant departments 
• Follow up with Post-Conference reports and review group billings 
• Input all group bookings and update booking activities in the system on a weekly basis  
• Prepare reports, maintain proper records and filing system in accordance to hotel’s sales administration process 
• Maintain gifts inventory and coordinate the sending of gifts to clients 
• Arrange site inspections for potential clients 
• Promote positive relations with clients and attend to all requests expediently and courteously

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Ensure achievement of monthly DSO Budget and other KPI targets.
• Manage Accounts Receivable balance and contact customers before balances become overdue to confirm payments
• Responsible in identifying slow moving accounts and escalate delinquent debts for case management
• Monitor customer credit limits
• Acquire sufficient information to assess the credit worthiness of new clients
• Monitor Field Collectors performance and productivity
• Responsible in handling disputed bills and negotiate to bring payment within the agreed terms.
• In-charge of the preparation of Reminder Letters
• Ensure all Customer complaints & inquiries are acted as a matter of urgency and importance following the company SOPs and 2/24 promise

About the Role

The Level 1 Help Desk Specialist will provide efficient and effective technical support and customer service to ensure clients can resolve their IT-related issues promptly. Key Responsibilities

User Account Management:

• Create user accounts across various platforms as per established procedures.
• Modify, reset, or deactivate user accounts based on requests or organizational requirements.

End User Hardware Setups:

• Prepare, configure, and deploy end-user hardware such as desktops and laptops, printers, and other peripherals.

• Coordinate with other IT team members or vendors for advanced hardware support.

Remote Software Installation:

• Install, update, or remove software for end-users through remote access tools.
• Ensure all installations adhere to company policies and licensing agreements.

Customer Asset Management:

• Maintain our existing database of client assets
• Produce regular reports detailing asset allocation, usage, lifecycle, and other relevant metrics.

General Support and Administration:

• Collaborate with higher-level support teams to escalate and resolve more complex issues.
• Update our knowledge base of solutions to common problems as you experience them.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay current with the latest technology and best practices.

Daily Monitoring of Customer Backups:

• Monitor daily all customer backups and work with the technical team to resolve any issues.
• Maintain a knowledge base of solutions to common problems and ensure it's up-to-date.

Monthly Review of Customer Subscriptions

• Review on a monthly basis that our customers are not under or over-licenced based on their requirements.

Qualifications & Attributes

• Degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in an IT support role.
• Familiarity with Windows, Active Directory, Office 365, macOS, and popular software applications.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal, in the English language
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
