Data Center Logistics is a key growth engine for the Technology sector & is part of DHL groups strategy for 2030.

Drive development of CSI Technology Data Center customers by understanding the customer and their growth strategy, building relationships, identifying opportunities, and pursuing business development together with Business Units within the region and India. Identify and support development of solutions and/or replicate existing solutions for the customers. The Regional Customer Director (RCD) supports the Global Customer Director (GCD) in the respective region. Assigned customers are considered highly strategic even among CSI customers. Hence the RCD will report directly into the Regional Technology Head.

PRE-SALES
In the respective Region, the Regional Customer Director (RCD) supports the Global Customer Director (GCD):

Strategic account planning 
• Provide input to Customer Development Plan, ensure buy-in within DHL for own region, and execute regional actions
• Identify long run prospects, game changing initiatives, innovation and eCommerce agenda in respective region
• Gather intelligence from internal & external sources to understand the customer (e.g. strategies, operational and procurement culture, supply chain maps including intelligence on ops, specs, incumbents, contracts, etc.)
• Conduct strategic customer dialogues with regional decision makers to identify customer's business objectives and supply chain requirements and challenges

SALES

Preparing the Deal
• Collect customer requirements and communicate these to CSI Commercial Operations and BU teams
• Define win and pricing strategy
• Work with CSI and BU virtual team and ensure customer requirements are considered in the offer
• Undertake due diligence on solution & price
• Develop proposal, business fit and solution fit

Closing the deal
• Present proposal, business fit and solution fit
• Adapt proposal and gain sign-off on changes
• Ensure common understanding of service expectations and solutions with the customer, DHL countries/region and within CSI
• Coordinate and actively engage in negotiations, gain decision maker commitment and close the deal
• Provide input to contract and ensure its sign off prior to the start of trading and in line with CSI and divisional contract approval processes/guidelines

Implementing the deal
• Represent and manage customer expectations, scope changes, approval process and deal activation
• Jointly support and monitor single BU implementation

AFTER-SALES
In the respective Region, the RCD supports the GCD: Service delivery and performance management
Raise service quality escalation if required in the Region

Account Maintenance
* Coordinate customer communications, including contractual and T&C changes
* Act as key contact for customer in the respective region, Channel communication to BU account teams and DHL internal functions in the region
* Conduct regional QRRs and QBRs at operational / strategic levels respectively, with the objective that all meetings develop the relationship.  Provide input to global QRRs/QBRs.
* Drive customer satisfaction survey (CSS) nominations, participation and follow up for her/his customer in the region.
* Partner with AR team and escalate issues with the customer as needed in the region.
* Provide input to Customer Status Update (CSU) follow up on issues and act as escalation instance in the region.

Requirement for the Role:

Experience:

• Requires 8-12 years of experience in the Logistics industry (especially data center knowledge), Sector or Customer

• Minimum 2-3 years experience in working across freight, parcel & contract logistics, including managing senior stakeholders within the organization & customer

• Requires 3-5 years of commercial experience

• Minimum 2-4 years of consultative selling experience in an international context

• Minimum 3-4 years of sales experience in the Technology sector

SDLC & RUNTIME

The SDLC and Runtime (SDLCR) team builds and manages the firm’s mission critical platforms for job scheduling, compute-as-a-service, file transfer, and the firmwide software development lifecycle (e.g., software distribution, automated testing, CI/CD). These platforms empower the firm’s expansive set of global developers to deliver services, products, and platforms for internal and external customers. 

In this role, you will work on multi-year initiatives to build out our strategic, highly scalable, and resilient SDLC platform, improving productivity and developer experience for our engineers across the firm.

JAVA CI/CD DEVELOPER

You will be part of Java-Slang Integration (JSI), a global team of Java/polyglot developers that design, develop and deploy the runtime of a proprietary build pipeline. This pipeline is used for the build, test and deployment at scale of some of the firms most business critical applications. The platform and the surrounding tool chain that form the JSI ecosystem allow the production of binaries that interop our proprietary front office language, SLANG, with the JVM ecosystem. At the same time, the underlying distribution mechanisms enable the simultaneous release of changes on a global scale.

Client Relationship Management

• Serve as the primary point of contact for a designated portfolio of Key institutional clients (eg hedge funds, asset managers, family offices, and sovereign wealth funds), fostering long-term partnerships.

• Investigate platform SLE breaches, coordinate responses to live issues, and manage client-specific requests. Lead end-to-end delivery by conducting impact analyses and driving issue resolution.

Operational Excellence & Complex Problem Solving:

• Oversee and drive the resolution of highly complex operational, technical, and service-related issues across the full suite of products and processes including Prime Services (e.g. financing, securities lending, listed derivatives and OTC clearing, synthetic prime, reporting, margin oversight) and Franchise products and functions (eg. Equity and Fixed Income Execution, OTC Derivatives – Equity Derivatives, Credit and Rates products, and FX).
• Act as a strategic liaison between clients and internal teams (Operations, Technology, Risk, Legal, Compliance) to ensure seamless service delivery, efficient prioritisation of issue resolution, and proactive communication on complex issues 

Product & Market Expertise:

• Possess a deep and comprehensive understanding of Prime Services and Execution products, global financial markets, market structure, and the regulatory landscape

Lead the design and delivery of tailored leadership development and management solutions. Drive revenue growth by expanding client relationships and facilitate senior-level workshops to enhance leadership, strategy, and innovation capabilities across regional blue-chip clients.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, develop and deliver customized experiential learning solutions, in the subject of Leadership Development, Strategy, Finance, and/or Innovation, including information gathering from key client stakeholders to match pecific needs and business objectives of global and regional clients
• Grow local/regional revenues for the Leadership and Coach Practice in APAC by increasing share of wallet within existing clients
• Facilitate senior-level workshops to develop business, leadership, strategy, business, innovation acumen, and manage change in regional blue-chip clients.
• Be the Subject-Matter-Expert to support BTS account managers in growing their existing accounts by cross-selling Leadership and Management solutions
• Master the existing Leadership and Management portfolio of solutions and facilitate training workshops
• Work collaboratively with team members across BTS business practices and regions

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• At least 13 - 20 years of experience with an excellent track record in developing and delivering talent solutions, particularly in the field of Leadership Development. Prior experience in business or commercial area, would be an added advantage.
• Experience in selling consulting services or leadership training with a demonstrated track record of achievement in a variety of industries
• Certification or prior experience in psychometric assessments and its application in leadership development will be an advantage
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with an authentic and confident presence that builds credibility and trust
• Ability to conceptualize and sell a vision, then design or co-create corresponding solutions
• Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple streams of work at high quality
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to work with multiple stakeholders and deliver under tight timelines
• A mature, humble, professional, and hands-on team player
• Alignment with BTS values, including client centricity and an entrepreneurial mindset
• Fluency in spoken and written English (Ability to facilitate workshops in other Asian languages will be a plus)

• Experience working in a multi-cultural environment, ideally in Asia
