We are seeking to appoint a Civil Designer within our Sunshine Coast Office, this is a newly created role available due to strong organic growth. You will work closely with Project Engineers, Project Managers and Senior Designers on the design and delivery of Urban Development projects. In particular you will work on land developments (residential and commercial), infrastructure and municipal projects including roads, drainage, sewer, water, earthworks erosion and sediment control.

Specifically:

•  Review sketches, drawings and engineering data received from external consultants, clients and internal stakeholders
•  Create detailed engineering designs and construction drawings compliant with industry standards and codes
• Analyse and prepare reports, drawings, planning and design documents for urban development projects
•  Liaise with stakeholders on a regular basis to manage project variations

We’re seeking an experienced and motivated Conference & Events Sales Manager to lead our Conference & Events team and drive the successful delivery of events across the resort and Convention Centre.

This is a dynamic role combining team leadership, event delivery and revenue generation, where you’ll manage your own portfolio of events while guiding a team to deliver seamless, high-quality experiences. You’ll play a key role in building strong client relationships, driving repeat business and maximising revenue opportunities, while further developing your leadership capability within a large-scale resort environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop the Conference & Events team
• Manage events end-to-end from confirmation through to post-event follow-up
• Build strong client relationships to drive repeat business and satisfaction
• Identify and drive upselling opportunities across events
• Oversee event coordination, reporting, and forecasting through Delphi
• Collaborate with Sales and Operations to ensure seamless delivery
• Monitor team performance, KPIs and planner feedback
