Straits Retail Property Management Services currently manages Paragon and The Woodleigh Mall within its portfolio. The Group Marketing Communications team is responsible for driving mall loyalty programmes, international marketing, and partnerships, and works closely with individual shopping mall marketing counterparts and other stakeholders to jointly achieve business and marketing objectives.
We are seeking a dynamic and commercially driven International Marketing and Partnerships candidate to grow and manage strategic and innovative partnerships that drive customer engagement and acquisition for our shopping mall loyalty programmes. This role will focus on identifying, securing and activating partners that enhance the value proposition of the programmes, increase member acquisition, shopper footfall and spend through impactful and strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Partnership Development & Member Acquisition
Identify, evaluate and secure strategic partners including but not limited to banks, financial institutions, hospitality, lifestyle and payment gateways to support the growth of our mall loyalty programmes and/or amplify the awareness of our shopping malls
Develop a robust calendar of partnership opportunities and corresponding collaboration frameworks for domestic and key target tourist markets
Develop compelling partnership proposals that align mutual business objectives
Secure and manage affiliate partnerships and sponsorships to lead value creation propositions by leveraging analytic insights of the database
Negotiate commercial terms, benefits and marketing commitments with partners
Programme Growth & Engagement
Design and implement partnership-led campaigns to drive member acquisition and active participation
Collaborate with internal teams to integrate partner offers into the loyalty ecosystem such as rewards, privileges, experiences
Continuously optimise partner mix to ensure relevance and attractiveness to target audiences and market shifts
Responsible for the planning and drafting of all Partnerships-related communications across all platforms
Campaign Execution & Management
Devise and execute partner and/or international marketing strategies and plans into content schemes, themed initiatives and actionable campaigns to encourage footfall and spend at the shopping malls
Guide and support all malls’ marketing teams in acquisition and engagement campaigns, as well as performance reporting
Proactively conceptualise collaborative campaigns to drive the international marketing strategy
Member Acquisition & Growth
Develop and drive acquisition and retention strategies through partnerships, and member engagement programmes to provide members with thoughtful, engaging and seamless experiences
Design and deliver end-to-end marketing campaigns that span functions such as brand management, partnerships and integrated marketing
Optimise acquisition funnels across digital and offline touchpoints
Work closely with tenants, partners and internal teams to amplify campaign reach
Relationship Management & Building
Build and maintain strong relationships with partners and internal stakeholders (leasing, marketing communications, operations, etc)
Manage partners, vendors and/or agencies for partnership and campaign execution,
Act as the point of contact for partnership-related matters
Performance Management & Reporting
Track key performance indicators such as member acquisition, engagement rates, redemption rates, active rates, members spend and partnerships-led returns on investment
Analyse data to access effectiveness of partnerships and campaigns
Prepare and/or present regular performance reports and presentations that include strategic insights and recommendations
Monitor market trends and offer proactive insights using tools available to stay ahead and relevant
Manage the partnerships budget, ensuring compliance with processes and return on investments
Manage and oversee partnerships aspects pertaining to the loyalty programmes
Job Qualifications:
At least 5 years of work experience in business development, partnerships or a related field, with a degree in Marketing or similar discipline.
A proven track record in identifying, securing and managing an effective network of partners.
Prior experience in executing luxury marketing initiatives will be an advantage.
Articulate, with strong interpersonal, negotiation, communication and relationship management skills to engage internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
Analytical and problem-solving mindset including the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and monitor campaign performance to drive continuous improvement.
Proactive in follow-up; able to work independently and perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
