We are seeking a motivated and analytically strong professional to join our Product Development team as a Commodity Derivatives Market Research & Product Development Analyst.

This role supports the research of relevant commodity markets as well as interacting with the design, and enhancement of Abaxx derivative contracts with the goal to create market relevant products to maximize robust price discovery and liquidity opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a driven, detail-oriented and curious individual to join our team.  The Market and Client Support role supports clients and internal stakeholders across client onboarding, due diligence, and ongoing relationship management. Key Responsibilities

The candidate will join a dynamic team, be exposed to a wide range of products and be challenged with complex risk problems. Responsibilities:

Risk Control

• Assist with the establishment and maintenance of the risk management framework by adhering to internal risk policies and staying up to date with regulatory standards and industry best practices
  
• Execute daily risk control processes including initial and variation margin calculations, mark-to-market valuations, and risk reports, working alongside Clearing Operation teams to manage clearing risk
  
• Investigate and document margin breaches and risk limit excesses, including root cause analysis, member communication, escalation procedures, and regulatory reporting requirements. Maintain detailed audit trails and contribute to post-incident reviews to strengthen risk controls

We are seeking an experienced Relationship Manager to onboard, manage and grow relationships with participants of our Market Development Program across the exchange’s commodities derivatives markets.  

This role is critical to managing client interactions while monitoring performance versus program requirements. 

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of exchange trading mechanics, market making strategies, and liquidity incentive structures, and will work closely with internal Product, Market Operations, Technology and Commercial teams to optimize participant performance and ultimately program returns to effectively deepen liquidity of Abaxx markets.  

Key Responsibilities 

• Act as the primary relationship manager for designated Market Maker and Liquidity Development participants 
  

• Build trusted, long-term partnerships with trading firms, proprietary trading houses, banks, and specialist market makers 
  

• Gain a thorough understanding of Abaxx Market Development Program structure, client trading strategies, risk appetites, operational requirements, including infrastructure set up

• Provide prompt, courteous, and efficient service to guests and handle guest complaints with tact and diplomacy. Assist in guest check-ins and check-outs.
