We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Document Controller to join our Rail team to support projects across Railway Signalling, systems and rollingstock. This is a pivotal role in managing critical project documentation and supporting the project controller in handling internal and external submissions. 

Key duties/responsibilities

• Manage Document Flow: Maintain control of all project-related documentation, ensuring accurate and timely distribution to relevant stakeholders.
• Data Management: Organize, cataloge, and archive project documents, ensuring they are easily accessible and in compliance with industry standards.
• Collaboration: Work closely with project teams to facilitate efficient document sharing, revision control, and data accuracy.
• Quality Assurance: Monitor document processes, identifying and rectifying discrepancies to maintain the highest quality standards.
• Compliance: Ensure all documentation adheres to industry regulations and internal standards.

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor (Civil) with 8–10 years of relevant experience, primarily in airport and commercial construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for cost estimation, contract management, billing, and overall commercial control of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates for civil works.
• Review drawings, specifications, and BOQs to ensure accuracy.
• Manage project budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting.
• Handle client billing, subcontractor billing, and certification processes.
• Monitor project progress and track variations/changes in scope.
• Prepare and evaluate tenders and contract documents.
• Ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
• Coordinate with project teams, consultants, and contractors for commercial matters.
• Conduct rate analysis and cost benchmarking.
• Support in claims management and dispute resolution.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• 8–10 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in airport and commercial projects.
• Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, estimation, and billing processes.
• Familiarity with contract management (FIDIC or similar standards preferred).
• Proficiency in MS Excel and estimation software/tools.
• Good understanding of construction methodologies and materials.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in large-scale infrastructure or airport projects.
• Knowledge of ERP systems and project management tools.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Monitor milestones, deliverables, QA/QC standards, and statutory compliance
• Support smooth handovers between design, project, and post-contract teams

As an Architectural Assistant, you will be a valued member of a project team, supporting the development of architectural projects from design through delivery. This role is ideal for someone eager to apply university learning in a real-world environment, contribute fresh ideas, and gain hands-on experience across multiple project stages.

You’ll work closely with Principals, Directors, Managers, and experienced architects, contributing to production, design development, research, and coordination.

What You’ll Be Doing

Project & Design Support

• Produce architectural drawings in line with company standards and project deadlines
• Assist with design research, reports, and presentation materials
• Support the creation of physical and digital models as required by projects
• Contribute design input, problem-solving, and production support to project leaders
• Participate in studies, design workshops, and coordination meetings

Professional Development

• Record experience toward professional qualification (e.g. PEDR quarterly logs)
