Core Responsibilities
- Receiving goods
Check incoming shipments against delivery documents, inspect for damage, and record quantities. - Storage & organization
Arrange items in designated locations so they’re easy to find and access. This often includes labeling and following a storage system (e.g., FIFO – first in, first out). - Inventory control
Keep track of stock levels, update inventory systems, and perform regular stock counts to avoid shortages or overstocking. - Picking & packing
Retrieve items based on orders, pack them properly, and prepare them for dispatch. - Dispatching goods
Coordinate outgoing shipments, ensure correct documentation, and liaise with delivery personnel. - Maintaining records
Use software or manual logs to track inventory movement, deliveries, and returns. - Warehouse upkeep
Ensure cleanliness, safety, and proper handling of goods (especially fragile or hazardous items).
Skills & Requirements
- Basic computer skills (inventory systems, Excel)
- Attention to detail
- Physical stamina (lifting, standing, moving goods)
- Organization and time management
- Basic understanding of safety procedures
Working Hours Flexibility
6.30am to 3.30pm
8.30am to 5.30pm
9.00am to 6.00pm
