Job Summary

You will lead the creation of high-impact visual content across multiple media formats, driving innovative design solutions that elevate client proposals and social media presence. Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver creative assets that support business growth and enhance brand storytelling.

Responsibilities

• Design and produce top-tier graphics, videos, illustrations, motion designs, and digital content that meet client objectives and brand standards
• Develop compelling event visuals including stage designs, posters, banners, LED wall layouts, and web assets that engage audiences and enhance event experiences
• Create detailed 3D mockups and pre-visualizations to enable clients to visualize concepts before approval and production
• Manage video editing and motion graphics for client projects
• Collaborate with the content team to conceptualize and execute social media visuals that drive engagement from initial idea through to final output
• Partner with creative, project, and sales teams to enhance proposals with strategic and visually impactful design elements
• Integrate AI creative tools such as Runway, Firefly, Sora-style tools, and Midjourney to accelerate workflows, generate innovative ideas, and prototype efficiently
• Produce diverse visual assets including illustrations, motion graphics, 2D/3D animations, and other multimedia elements tailored to project needs
• Identify emerging design trends and generate new creative ideas to continuously raise the team’s creative standards
• Respond proactively to ad-hoc tasks and support cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced environment to meet evolving project demands

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Digital Media, Design, Animation, Visual Communications, or equivalent, supported by a strong professional portfolio
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience producing professional creative work beyond academic projects
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, After Effects) and experienced with 3D software such as Blender, Maya, or Cinema 4D
• Demonstrated ability to conceptualize and execute creative projects independently with speed and precision
• Solid understanding of animation, motion graphics, video editing, and visual design principles
• Practical experience using AI creative tools to enhance design processes
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively in a dynamic environment
• Motivated to grow professionally with a clear trajectory toward creative leadership roles
• Familiarity with Figma, Notion, Monday.com, scripting, or tool automation is advantageous

The Junior Director & Writer is responsible for planning, managing, and executing film and video production projects for clients, from concept development through final delivery.

This role combines creative direction, scripting, proposal development, and on-ground production leadership. The ideal candidate is able to translate client objectives into compelling visual concepts, lead creative execution on set, and work closely with both clients and internal teams to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop, manage, and execute film and video production projects for clients.
• Lead the creative vision of productions and direct on-set execution to bring scripts to life visually.
• Guide actors, talent, and crew during production while ensuring creative alignment and smooth shoot operations.
• Develop creative video proposals and concepts that meet client objectives and project requirements.
• Lead and participate in client pitches, presenting creative concepts, storytelling approaches, and production strategies.
• Write clear, creative, and compelling scripts for a range of projects, including narrative videos, commercials, corporate branding videos, interviews, and other branded content.
• Collaborate closely with technical and production teams to achieve the desired visual style, tone, and storytelling quality.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through clear communication, responsiveness, and professionalism throughout the project lifecycle.
• Make key decisions relating to creative direction, budget allocation, production planning, and shot scheduling.
• Stay updated on industry trends, content formats, audience behaviour, and creative best practices to develop relevant and impactful content.
• Provide direction and feedback during the post-production and editing process to ensure the final deliverables align with the original creative vision.
• Work closely with team members, vendors, freelancers, and contractors to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and to APEX standards.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Filmmaking, Mass Communications or a related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant working experience in video production, filmmaking, content creation, or a related creative industry.
• Strong portfolio showcasing previous directing, scripting, or video production work.
• Strong creative storytelling ability with a solid understanding of visual narrative and script development.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong leadership, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
