Education and Experience Requirements

Responsibilities

• Manage customer complaints, corrective and preventive action programs.
• Work closely with customers, production and suppliers to meet the quality requirements.
• Review and prepare, administer and implement Quality Assurance Plans, Inspection Test Plans and other operational procedures in accordance to the technical specifications, customer's surveillance requirements, and good manufacturing / engineering practices, and enforce the same on Operations in their execution.
• Work closely among inter-department to ensure committed schedules are met in a timely and effectively manner.
• Responsible for product quality management, implement quality plans, drive quality improvement projects and prepare quality report to identify problem areas and work on problem resolutions
• Interface with and handle customers/vendors on quality issues.
• Handle the customer quality/customer satisfaction issues for global and major customers, which include monitoring field complaints, coordinating investigation and following up within the business to ensure appropriate closure in a timely fashion.
• Assume the focal role for investigating high failure rate customer issues, coordinating the use of different resources to investigate the customer issues.
• Lead the internal team members in achieving the ISO9001:2015 accredited certification as well as customer-specific qualifications.
• Work closely with internal team members and external suppliers to address product-related quality issues, and drive corrective and preventive actions for continuous improvement.
• Lead the quality effort to identify key process and quality improvement in nonconformances (NCR) and rejects.
• Managing and monitoring to ensure organization compliance with Trade, Environmental Health and Safety requirement.
• Perform other duties as requested by management .

Requirement

• Min Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or relevant
• Min 3 years of experience in Manufacturing/EMS/Semiconductor industry
• Knowledge in 5S, PFMECA, SPC & ISO 9000 series Quality system.

Responsibilities

• Performs under the general direction of the Engineering department head.
• Work with Customers and Company counterparts on mechanical assembly design as well as the applications.
• Study and analyze customer design requirement, specifications, and other data to evaluate the feasibility, cost, and tooling/equipment requirements.
• Design new products using 3D CAD and perform FEA modelling.
• Design jig & fixture for new product whenever necessary.
• Define the manufacturing processes for new product and create the shop floor router accordingly.
• Check the drawings accuracy and release for prototype development and mass production.
• Focus person of NPI activities, to co-ordinate and follow through FAI build to identify potential issues and take preventive actions accordingly.
• Setup Bill of Material and routing for new part numbers in ERP system.
• Perform product validation according to the product design specification and customer requirements.
• Work with vendors to fabricate and test functional prototypes of new products, component changes and design improvements.
• Focus person to liaise with customer for Engineering Change, raises ECN and co-ordinate with internal personnel to ensure smooth implementation.

Requirement

• Min Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing or relevant
• Min 3 years of experience in mechanical product design with jig & fixture design in manufacturing industry
• Proficiency in Solidworks 3D modelling and AutoCad.
• Familiar with machining and stamping parts fabrication processes.
