• Maintain production records, reporting metrics such as quality, scrap rates, downtime, and output.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives within the department.
• Manage inventory of indirect materials, consumables, and finished goods related to laser operations.
• Address personnel issues including timekeeping, performance reviews, and discipline where necessary.

Required Skills and Competencies:

• Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of laser systems (fiber lasers, CO₂ lasers, YAG lasers, etc.) and their applications in manufacturing.
• Leadership Skills: Strong ability to supervise, coach, and motivate a diverse team.
• Problem-Solving: Analytical mindset with excellent troubleshooting skills for machinery and process issues.
• Quality Focus: Familiarity with quality assurance processes, including inspection methods and documentation.
