Key Responsibilities
Operate excavators and related heavy machinery for earthworks, trenching, drainage, utility maintenance, site clearance, and backfilling
Perform precise excavation works in confined or live facility environments
Conduct daily pre-operation checks on equipment including engine, hydraulics, tracks, and safety systems
Carry out basic preventive maintenance and report defects promptly
Ensure machinery is clean and in good working condition
Coordinate with site supervisors, facility managers, and safety officers to execute works according to plans and permits
Follow method statements, risk assessments, and work schedules
Support site setup, including barricading and traffic control where required
Adhere strictly to Singapore Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations and relevant authority requirements (MOM, LTA, PUB, BCA)
Participate in toolbox meetings and ensure compliance with safe work procedures
Maintain records of equipment usage and daily work activities
Report incidents, near-misses, and operational issues
