Key Responsibilities  The Project Manager Level 1 is responsible for executing defined project tasks and supporting the project lifecycle under close supervision.  Project Execution Support: Assist in the execution of project plans, schedules, and resource assignments. 

Documentation and Reporting: Maintain project files, documentation (e.g., meeting minutes, risk logs, status reports), and ensure accuracy and timely reporting to stakeholders and the senior PM.

Description

We are representing our client to recruit for a Project Manager role.

In the Logistics Project Management Office, we are the architect and builder of logistics solutions to enable our operations teams to run an effective and efficient supply chain! We are looking for highly motivated individual whose DNA is to innovate down to the details and has the natural flair to navigate around ambiguity. You should be confident in taking charge and leading hard calls to pivot the project in the right direction, working within the project constraints.

We look to our PM in being able to:

• Lead, plan, priorities and organise project activities. Develop business project plans/schedules while balancing business needs and expectations.
• Take charge in gathering, prioritising and validating business requirements through interviews, workshops, working sessions (e.g. brainstorming sessions) with logistics partners.
• Possess an intrinsic mind in project solutioning that helps drives a standardised yet scalable solution which avoids exceptions and manual processes. 
• Responsible for driving User Acceptance Test (UAT) deliverables within the logistics function, including writing the logistics test scripts and executing some test steps depending on business resource availability.
• Possesses the soft skills and analytical mind in managing between the cross functional teams and operations function to ensure logistics requirements and objectives are met alongside the broader organisation benefits 
• Manage across internal and external partners’ expectations especially with competing project constraints. A key challenge being balancing bandwidth / availability of project SMEs with their functional work
• Ability to identify and manage project risks throughout the life of a project.
• Communicate to management and partners to provide clarity in project scope, timelines, risk, benefits across the project life cycle on a regular basis.
• Drive vendors effectively to achieve project deliverables and ensure project is delivered on schedule.

Key Qualifications

• More than 5 years of experience in business analysis and project management
• At least 3 years of working experience in a driving seat leading 3PLsor working in a 3PL(Freight Forwarding/Contract Logistics)
• Service parts management and experience with IT systems (SAP, WMS, TMS, EDI, etc capabilities) implementation experience
• Project Management certification (PMP)preferred as well as service and support experience in consumer electronics industry and APAC region.
• Knowledge of CRM (e.g. Peoplesoft) and ERP (e.g. SAP)systems deployed in the consumer electronics industry (desired)
• Demonstrated experience/track record in project management, including management of scope, time and schedule, with balance of quality and risk management
• Excellent leadership skills that in fluence decisions and facilitate change management through active collaboration with all levels across both the Business & Technical communities
• Excellent social and communications skills at all levels of business communication. Facilitation, negotiation, conflict resolution skills, and demonstrated success at establishing teams and relationships with key people in local and remote sites.

Education

Bachelor degree, preferably in Business or Systems and Industrial Engineering or other related degrees.

Key Responbilities:

• Responsible for day-to-day success of project execution and management of the construction process
• Study all project information and drawings to understand the design and detailing
• Review all necessary documents required by the project e.g., building guideline, BOQ, method statement etc
• Establishes project execution plan in conjunction with the Project Manager
• Close monitoring of daily work activities, with schedule

Construction Stage

• Monitor and maintain progress and program. Ensures any delays are addressed and resolved immediately. Escalate any necessity for request of extension of time to the Project Manager immediately
• Manage design information and Change Orders in conjunction
• Ensure materials used are to spec and cross referenced to schedule and sample boards
• Highlight and address design build ability issues with in construction drawings and shop drawings
• Monitor quality and trade contractor performance through supervision, regular inspection and snagging

Completion Stage

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Project Management, Construction Management or related disciplines
• Over 5 years relevant working experience in corporate offices interior fit-out works with multi-national companies exposure preferred
• Able to read architectural and technical drawings thus translates to construction activities
• Good knowledge of statutory and safety regulations/requirements
• Familiar with computer software such as Microsoft, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project

The Assistant Project Manager cum EHS Coordinator plays a key role in driving the successful delivery of underground infrastructure projects by supporting effective planning, coordination, and execution. Concurrently, the role provides strong leadership in Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) management, ensuring all project activities meet the highest standards of safety, quality, cost control, and schedule adherence, in full compliance with Singapore's Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) legislation and regulatory authority requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Assistant Project Manager

1. Project Planning & Execution

• Support the development and implementation of project plans, schedules, and work sequences for underground infrastructure works including tunneling, utilities diversion, pipe-jacking, and civil engineering works.
• Coordinate daily site activities to ensure works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and contract requirements.
• Assist in obtaining all necessary permits and approvals from relevant authorities prior to work commencement.
• Monitor project progress, milestones, deliverables, and cost performance, and highlight risks or delays to management.
• Prepare and submit regular progress reports and documentation to management, clients, and stakeholders.
• Assist in the preparation of technical and project documentation during tender and project stages.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date project records, reports, and correspondence.

1. Stakeholder & Team Management

• Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and authorities (e.g. LTA, PUB, SP, MOM) to ensure smooth project coordination.

EHS Coordinator

1. Safety Leadership & Compliance

• Champion a strong safety culture across all project sites by enforcing safe work practices and compliance with WSH requirements.
• Ensure full compliance with the WSH Act, WSH (Construction) Regulations, and authority-specific safety requirements (LTA, PUB, SP, MOM).
• Take enforcement action without prejudice for any safety non-compliance or unsafe acts/conditions observed on site.

1. Safety Operations & Site Control

• Plan and manage safety team manpower, duty rosters, and site coverage including night work, Sundays, and public holidays.
• Conduct daily and scheduled site safety inspections for underground and high-risk works.
• Lead daily toolbox meetings (7:00 AM) and safety briefings for operational teams.
• Ensure effective hazard identification and control measures for confined space works, excavation, lifting operations, gas testing, and water ingress.

1. Safety Documentation & Coordination

• Prepare, review, and maintain safety documentation including Risk Assessments (RA), Safe Work Procedures (SWP), Permits-to-Work (PTW), incident reports, and safety checklists.
• Coordinate safety audits, inspections, and compliance checks with WSHO, ECO, and relevant authorities.
• Participate in Emergency Response Planning (ERP), drills, and rescue preparedness exercises internally and with external agencies (e.g. SCDF, SPF).

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Workplace Safety & Health.
• Preferably certified as WSH Coordinator / WSH Supervisor / WSH Officer (WSHO).
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in underground works, utility infrastructure, tunneling, or civil engineering projects.
• Good working knowledge of PTW systems, MOM/WSH regulations, and authority safety requirements (LTA, PUB, SP).
• Strong coordination, communication, and organizational skills.
• Able to work a 6-day work week, including rostered night, Sunday, and public holiday duties, as required by project needs.
• Independent, proactive, hands-on, and detail-oriented.
• Strong advocate of safety standards, safe work culture, and continuous improvement.
• Possession of a valid Class 2 or Class 3 driving licence will be an added advantage to support site mobility.
