• You will be responsible for the overall management and technical operations of our fleet. This includes overseeing the daily operations of maintenance and repair, budgeting, survey schedules, on-board general assessment of vessels, inspections and docking, etc.

• Experience working with: Cryogenic dilution refrigerators Quantum photonic integrated circuits (PICs)Ultrafast laser laboratories or laser‑based quantum experiments

All the responsibilities we will trust you with:

• Provide Level 2 technical support for IMACS systems, including CCTV, Access Control, Alarm Systems, and backend IT infrastructure (servers, storage, network).
• Support installation, testing, commissioning & configure network devices such as workstations, routers, and switches. Maintain system components in accordance with project and operational requirements.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose basic hardware, software, and local area network (LAN) incidents and system faults, including root cause analysis and escalation to Level 3 or vendors when required.
• Respond efficiently to automated alerts and fault calls, performing initial troubleshooting and escalation within defined operational timelines.
• Support corrective, preventive, and request maintenance activities in line with ITSM processes and SLA commitments.
• Perform server/VM administration health monitoring (production and DR environments) PTRG, Server disk space etc.
• Support implementation, migration, and system upgrades, including preparation of implementation plans, migration plans, and rollback procedures.
• Support in conducting testing and commissioning activities, including FAT/SAT, and ensure defects are rectified prior to acceptance.
• Liaise with Project Managers, Maintenance Managers, and stakeholders to coordinate site activities, schedules, and issue resolution.
• Participate in incident, problem, change management processes and change request.
• Ensure accurate documentation and audit compliance, including: Work instructions / SOPs, As-built documentation & Service reports and incident logs.
• Support high availability operations by ensuring systems meet uptime, resilience, and disaster recovery (DR) requirements.

Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:

• Minimum Nitec/Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic/IT) or related field preferred
• At least 2 years’ experience in OT/IT environment preferred
• Knowledge of networking (IP/TCP)
• Experience in CCTV, Access Control, and system servers
• Exposure to system security (OS hardening, patching, AV) 
• Relevant IT certifications will be an advantage
• Good communication and positive attitude
• Comfortable with shift work

Responsibilities:

a) Provide IT technical onsite support for end user services problem which includes identification, diagnosis, rectification and escalation.

b) Offsite Standby support for emergency incidents / cases after office hours on a weekly rotational basis amongst the team personnel.

c) Duty Engineers on standby are to answer all incoming calls within 10 rings. In the event of a dropped / missed call, the duty engineer is to return call within 15 mins of the dropped or missed call.

d) Installation, re-installation, troubleshooting and reconfiguration of Bank’s standard processor (including but not limited to Intel, AMD, MAC) based desktops, notebooks, printers, iPads, scanners hardware components.

e) Installation, re-installation, troubleshooting and reconfiguration of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft applications and MobileIron that are found in the Desktop PCs and Notebook PCs.

f) Installation of Customer access and in-house applications. Facilitate assistance in Software Distribution services for Customer’s users.

g) Perform data removal from hard disk by following Customer’s Hard disk disposal procedures (eg. scrubbing, degaussing, and documentation of disposal list).

h) Manage (liaison for queries, escalation, problem determination and resolution, and MAC – move, add and change) 3rd party vendors.

i) Provides support for queries, escalation, problem determination, resolution, and MAC – move, add and change.

j) Provide MAC (move, add and changes) for IT infrastructure services.

k) Provide desktop software support (to configure / troubleshoot Microsoft Office suite / in house application)

l) Provide desktop support for BCP and BCP exercises.

m) Printer Maintenance (Comprehensive includes Maintenance Kit)

- 1st level problem analysis and troubleshooting

- Repair and replacement of expandable mechanical parts (such as transfer & pickup rollers, swing blades, etc.).

1. Coordinate with the Vendor (warranty) and ensure that the printers are restored to working condition
2. Configuration and setup including print server
3. Yearly preventive maintenance

Requirements

a) Min 2.5 years of experience in administration and support of Desktop support.

b) Candidate needs to possess good communication skills.

c) Candidate needs to familiarize themselves with the End-users computing environment and desktop support workflow.

d) Able to perform basic network troubleshooting, Telnet, tracert, hopping, DNS, McAfee Scanning (blocking IP)

e) Good understanding in AD, group policy, proxy setting, Power Excel, latest Windows OS
