Operating System Lifecycle & Patch Management

Oversee and coordinate enterprise-wide OS patching operations across RHEL (v7 to v10) and Windows Server (2016 to 2025) environments using native tools eg. AWS Systems Manager, Azure Update Management, WSUS, SCCM, and YUM/DNF

Demonstrate advanced proficiency in both Linux and Windows system administration with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues across both platforms

Develop and enforce patching strategies, policies, and schedules aligned with security compliance requirements and business continuity objectives

Lead monthly and quarterly patch cycles, ensuring comprehensive testing, validation, and rollback procedures

Coordinate patch approvals with Change Advisory Board (CAB) and manage stakeholder communications throughout patching activities

Execute post-patch validation, remediation activities, and compliance reporting for audit requirements

Identify and manage End-of-Life (EOL) operating systems and applications, planning upgrade and migration strategies

Security Hardening & Compliance Management

Lead CIS (Center for Internet Security) security hardening initiatives and remediation activities across all cloud platforms and operating systems

Implement and maintain security baselines based on CIS Benchmarks, government security standards (IM8 Policy), and industry best practices

Oversee vulnerability management programs using tools such as Trend Micro, Qualys, Tenable, and AWS Config

Prioritize, coordinate, and track security remediation efforts across infrastructure teams to ensure timely resolution of vulnerabilities

Technology Application Manager is responsible for implementation, maintenance, and support of technology applications within an organization

This involves maintaining disciplined governance, providing actionable data insights for senior management, and ensuring that projects align with the bank’s financial and operational goals.

Key Responsibilities

1. Governance & Compliance

Standards Enforcement: Ensure all projects adhere to the Project Management Life Cycle (PMLC) and Agile frameworks.

Audit Readiness: Maintain comprehensive project documentation and artifacts to ensure compliance with internal risk management and external regulatory standards.

Meeting Facilitation: Organise and facilitate Project Steering Committee (PSC) and Working Group (WG) meetings, including preparing executive-level materials and tracking action items.

2. Financial & Resource Management

Resource Planning: Monitor resource utilization across various "squads" or departments to identify bottlenecks and ensure optimal allocation.

3. Reporting & Data Analytics

Performance Dashboards: Utilize tools like Tableau, PowerBI, or internal platforms to create real-time dashboards for project KPIs, risks, and milestones.

Narrative Building: Translate complex technical progress into clear, simplified status reports for senior stakeholders (e.g., VPs and Managing Directors).

4. Risk & Issue Management (RAID)

Proactive Monitoring: Maintain and update the RAID log(Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies).

Escalation: Identify critical path delays and proactively escalate issues that may impact the project’s "market readiness" or rollout.

Key Requirements

Technical Skills

Project Tools: Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, and MSProject.

Data Skills: Strong Microsoft Excel skills (pivots, VLOOKUPs, macros) and experience with data visualization tools.

Agile Knowledge: Familiarity with Scrum or Kanban methodologies

Soft Skills & Qualifications

Experience: Typically, 10 years of experience in PMO or Business management within a financial institution.

Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication, specifically the ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority.

The Technical Program Management (TPM) team oversees end to end delivery of New Product Introduction (NPI) projects. The TPM assesses project complexity, allocates resources, and drives cross‑functional engineering alignment through structured checkpoints, weekly reviews, and close collaboration with Operations. They manage CAPEX, ensure functional milestones are met, and navigate a fast‑paced environment to deliver optimal, timely solutions. TPMs are proactive team players who steer coordination, make tough decisions, and support DF(X) and design‑to‑cost initiatives to achieve project goals.

About the role

• Lead a team of NPI project managers across multiple categories globally.

• Drive enterprise level cost saving initiatives spanning manufacturing, engineering, tooling, paint, and test functions.

• Act as primary contacts for major cost-saving projects at the enterprise level.

• Strategize and resource global manufacturing NPD (New Product Development) delivery, ensuring TPMs support each project.

• Provide technical guidance and coaching for the TPM team.

• Success requires a collaborative, proactive mindset—no strict boundaries, always ready to exceed expectations.

NPI Project Management Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of NPI project managers from project initiation through installation and the first three months of mass production.

• Oversee all key aspects of NPI projects, including:

• Technical delivery milestones

• End to end project planning

• CAPEX management

• DF(X) and cost-focused design reviews

• Assess project complexity and develop department resource plans, securing approval and collaboration from all Engineering functions.

• Set project checkpoints and actively engage stakeholders to achieve buy in at each stage.

• Drive alignment across engineering functions, ensuring clear deliverables and timely contributions including input from design teams.

• Guarantee that all teams integrate the required protocols (e.g., IQ/OQ/PQ, DFM, Mold flow analysis) into their plans.

• Align regularly with Operations Management regarding project deliverables and expectations.

• Conduct periodic NPI reviews with the TPMs, summarizing progress and challenges for senior leadership.

• Build strong relationships with non-engineering teams critical to NPI success, such as RDD, Operations and outsourced procurement.

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive project tracker, monitoring health, timelines, capital spend, and potential risks.

• Foster a positive, collaborative cross functional environment.

• Provide manufacturing and operations insights to the project team, acting as an escalation point and resolving challenges as needed.

About you

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronic Engineering.

• Shows a strong willingness to learn and challenge current production test and assembly methods.

• Demonstrates solid engineering judgment applied beyond their main area of expertise.

• Has managed a team of at least 5 people, directly or indirectly.

• Works well independently with minimal supervision.

• Able to travel frequently to Malaysia.

• Has at least eight years of relevant experience in NPI environments.

• Experienced in regulated settings, following or establishing protocols like IQ, OQ, and PQ.

• Understands the challenges of outsourced operations.

• PMP certification is an advantage.

Job Description:

• Maintain and enhance IT policies, processes and controls to ensure regulatory compliance and effective risk management.
