Responsibilities:
CPB Expert: This critical leadership role is responsible for orchestrating the strategic technology roadmap and execution for Wealth Management in Asia and EMEA, ensuring initiatives are scalable, innovative, and deliver competitive advantage. It involves establishing robust governance frameworks to ensure regulatory compliance, mitigate risks, and maintain operational integrity. A strong command of Private Bank knowledge, encompassing its systems, functionality, and processes, is essential for success in this role. Furthermore, the role demands expert program leadership to guarantee timely, budget-adherent delivery of a diverse technology portfolio, effective engagement and influence with senior stakeholders within the Citi Private Bank (CBP) space, and fostering a high-performance culture within the team.
Strategic Planning & Execution: Lead the formulation and implementation of strategic technology initiatives aligned with the overall Wealth Management business strategy for Asia and EMEA. Drive the technology roadmap for key wealth platforms and services, ensuring scalability, innovation, and competitive advantage.
Governance Framework Development & Oversight: Establish, maintain, and continuously improve robust governance frameworks for technology development, delivery, and operations within Wealth Technology Asia/EMEA. Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, internal policies, and best practices.
Program & Project Leadership: Oversee a portfolio of strategic technology programs and projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and alignment with business value. Provide guidance and mentorship to project managers and teams.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate extensively with senior business leaders, product managers, and technology heads across Asia and EMEA to understand requirements, manage expectations, and communicate progress effectively. Act as a primary point of contact for technology-related governance matters within the Wealth Technology domain.
Risk Management & Compliance: Identify, assess, and mitigate technology-related risks, ensuring compliance with relevant data privacy, security, and operational resilience standards. Drive audit readiness and response activities.
Performance Measurement & Reporting: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for technology initiatives and governance processes. Develop and present regular reports on strategic progress, operational performance, and compliance status to senior management.
Team Leadership & Development: Foster a high-performance culture within the team, promoting continuous learning, collaboration, and professional growth.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 10+ years of experience in financial services technology, with a strong focus on Wealth Management or Private Banking.
Proven track record in leading strategic technology initiatives, program management, and implementing strong governance models.
In-depth knowledge of technology platforms, architecture, and emerging trends in wealth management.
Demonstrated ability to engage and influence senior business and technology stakeholders.
Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements in the financial industry across Asia and EMEA.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
