Reporting to the Group CFO, the Senior Finance Manager – Transformation will play a key role to drive a Group-wide transformation of Finance through the implementation of SAP S/4HANA GROW (Public Cloud) with E2E procurement capability for Development and Downstream Construction.
This role is pivotal in reshaping Finance - moving from manual, fragmented systems and processes to a highly automated, standardized, and digitally integrated model - delivering a step change in productivity, control, and insight across the Woh Hup Group of companies.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the comprehensive design, execution, adoption, and stabilization of SAP’s upgrade and migration from legacy systems. This role requires effective coordination with IT teams, external system integrators, Finance, Procurement, and Banking partners, for entities across Singapore, Malaysia, the UK, Australia, and additional markets.
Ensure seamless integration of SAP with other essential systems. This includes internal digital platforms such as “PDIP,” Workday expense management, Group reporting, Group treasury, and country-specific e-invoicing systems.
Design and adoption of a comprehensive M&A framework that incorporates detailed due diligence, financial valuation and governance guidelines to support Group-wide acquisitions, divestments and strategic investments.
Success Looks Like:
A digitally enabled finance team focused on analysis and value creation. Significant reduction in manual processing and spreadsheet dependency with automated procurement, invoicing, banking, and reconciliation processes.
Faster, more reliable month end close and reporting cycles. For consolidated group reporting, audit, local statutory and bank covenant reporting, and to enable the finance users to deliver higher quality decision-making information to the business.
Robust system controls across all jurisdictions including clear segregation of duties and role-based access, transparent audit trail, and enforced rules around chart of accounts and master data across entities.
The ideal candidate should have:
Proven capability and experience in transformation, change management in new digital systems, and strong project management skills. Negotiate solutions that balance compliance, usability, and standardisation.
Strong knowledge of full-suite finance processes including record to report, order to cash, procure to pay, group reporting, treasury, tax & statutory compliance processes, against a multicurrency environment.
Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and people agility. Build trust and momentum across diverse nationalities, cultures, and functions. Balance empathy with firm decision-making to drive meaningful and lasting change.
