Job Description:

• Develop and execute business development strategies aligned with the company's long-term growth objectives
• Identify and evaluate new business opportunities in semiconductor fabrication plants, cleanroom construction, advanced manufacturing facilities, and industrial engineering projects 
• Conduct market research and competive analysis to identify emerging industry trends and opportunities
• Formulate annual business development plans, revenue targets, and expansion strategies
• Build and maintain relationships with key clients, investors, industry partners, government agencies, consultants, and contractors
• Represent the company at industry conferences, trade exhibitions, business forums, and networking events
• Lead commercial discussions and negotiations with prospective customers and strategic partners

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline
• Minimum 8–10 years of relevant experience in business development, corporate strategy, project development, or commercial management
• Experience in semiconductor, cleanroom, engineering, construction, industrial technology, or advanced manufacturing sectors is preferred
• Proven track record in securing large-scale projects and developing strategic partnerships
• Experience managing regional business development activities across Asia-Pacific markets is advantageous
• Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities
• Ability to analyze market opportunities and formulate growth strategies

About the Role

TECHNIQUES AIR-CONDITIONING & ENGINEERING PTE LTD is a leader in specialised heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) engineering works and climate control solutions for data centres, industrial environments, telecom facilities, healthcare and other mission-critical applications. It also has a 90,000-square-foot pre-fabrication facility equipped with smart production systems to support our projects and ensure operational continuity.

We are currently expanding and seeking highly motivated Project Engineers (M&E) to join our dynamic team. As a Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in engineering design and project management; ensuring on-time delivery, quality, safety and smooth client engagement.

What you’ll be doing

• Assist the Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing project plans at site.
• Support project administration; including planning, cost control, work-in-progress monitoring, and adherence to quality standards.
• Review and ensure proper documentation of all quality records ie. material submittals, equipment calibration results, site inspection records and regular progress report updates.
• Resolve design and technical issues in a timely manner.
• Review of Requests for Information (RFI) and Document Acceptance Requests (DARS) with timely response to sub-contractors and clients respectively.
• Periodically monitor the inspection guidelines and conduct quality inspection to ensure on-site installation works is in accordance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Assist in testing and commissioning activities of the completed system.
• Ensure the contractor’s work procedures is in compliance with the method statement and Health & Safety (H&S) policy.
• Prompt reporting of non-conforming works and ensure corrective actions are taken.
• Verify materials delivered at site and ensure compliance with approved material submissions and project specifications.
• Any other duties as assigned by the Project Manager from time to time.

What we’re looking for

• Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Entry-level university graduates are welcome to apply. Diploma holders must have at least 2-3 years of working experience in the related field
• Is self-motivated, possess strong technical knowledge and aptitude for problem-solving; with the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders
• Candidates with experience in the construction sector for data centre, semiconductor, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, public and commercial sectors will be advantageous
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Working location - West Zone
• 5.5-day work week (Alternate Saturdays)

Responsibilities:

• Provide 1st and 2nd level IT support including desktop related technical assistance via telephone, ticket system, emails and instant chat messaging tool, etc.

Job requirements:

• A Minimum of 3 years of desk side work experience in large enterprise companies
• A minimum Diploma in computer science or equivalent experience in IT
• Strong knowledge in User & VIP Support and ITIL methodology
• Familiar with Mac and Window OS system
• Able to work under pressure, self-motivated, strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Strong data analytic, communication & interpersonal skills
• MCP and/or Apple Technician (MacOS) certified is advantageous

Key Responsibilities

1. Equipment Ownership & Performance

• Act as equipment owner for a defined set of CMP tools 
• Monitor OEE and uptime, define and drive actions to improve them.
• Analyze equipment alarms, and chronic issues; implement robust corrective and preventive actions.

2. Maintenance & Troubleshooting

• Define and optimize PM (Preventive Maintenance) plans and spare parts strategy.
• Support technicians in complex troubleshooting: mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, vacuum, robotics and software.
• Escalate and coordinate with equipment vendors (remote and on-site) for advanced technical support.

3. New Equipment Introduction & Upgrades

• Participate in specification, selection, installation and qualification of new CMP tools.
• Lead or support process and equipment release to production, including capability and stability checks.
• Manage equipment upgrades, retrofits, and obsolescence mitigation projects.

4. Process & Quality Support

• Work with process engineers to ensure that equipment performance meets process requirements 
• Support yield, quality, and reliability investigations from an equipment perspective
• Ensure equipment operation complies with quality systems (e.g. IATF 16949, ISO 9001, automotive standards where applicable).

5. Continuous Improvement & Industrial Efficiency

• Analyze data and KPIs; identify bottlenecks and chronic losses.
• Lead or participate in Lean/Six sigma/SMED activities for cycle time, cost, energy, and throughput improvements.
• Drive standardization of settings, PM procedures, troubleshooting guides, and documentation.

6. Safety, Environment & Compliance

• Ensure strict adherence to EHS rules (chemicals, slurry, gases, high voltage, vacuum, cleanroom, LOTO).
• Participate in risk assessments, FMEA, and implementation of safety interlocks and procedures.
• Maintain compliance with environmental and regulatory requirements (e.g. waste handling, emissions).

7. Documentation, Training & Knowledge Management

• Create and maintain equipment documentation: procedures, checklists, work instructions, recovery plans.
• Train and coach maintenance technicians on equipment usage and basic troubleshooting.
• Contribute to knowledge base and share best practices across shifts and sites.

Job Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
• Min 5 years of relevant work experience in CMP area, familiar with CMP Equipment (AMAT MirraMesa, Ebara F-REX200, Ontrak, etc.).
• Strong troubleshooting skills and deep technical knowledge.
• Knowledge of SPC, FMEA, 8D methodologies.
• Excellent communication, cross-functional collaboration abilities and written skills.
• Positive learning attitude with strong sense of responsibility.
• Strong ownership, a commitment and flexibility to support operational priorities
• Able to adapt in a fast paced environment and work under pressure.

ACMV Engineer (Air Conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation Engineer)

Working Days: Monday – Friday
