Job Description:
1. Lifting Plan Formulation and Pre-Operation Preparation
2. On-Site Full-Time Supervision and Command Coordination
3. Daily Management of Lifting Equipment and Rigging Gear
4. Occupational Health, Safety Management and Risk Prevention
5. Documentation, Communication and Coordination
6. Equipment Site Acceptance Inspection and Daily Inspection
7. Other duties requested by site management
Requirement:
1. Education Background
No strict discipline requirement; a certificate, diploma, or higher qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related engineering field is preferred.
2. Professional Qualifications and Certifications (Mandatory)
Must hold a valid Lifting Supervisors Safety Course certificate issued by an accredited training provider in Malaysia, with the certificate remaining within its validity period.
Possession of a DOSH/JKKP-registered Competent Person (OYB) qualification for crane inspection will be given priority consideration under equal conditions.
3. Work Experience
Minimum 1 to 3 years of hands-on on-site lifting supervision experience in the Malaysian construction industry, specifically within industrial plant or heavy industry projects.
4. Core Knowledge and Skills
Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings, lifting equipment technical manuals, and load charts.
Sound understanding of basic lifting mechanics, with the ability to perform simple load calculations and select appropriate rigging gear.
Good verbal communication and written documentation skills, capable of clearly and accurately preparing lifting plans, inspection reports, and incident analysis reports.
Familiar with the Malaysian Occupational Safety and Health Act and its subsidiary regulations, as well as relevant industry standards (MS standards, CIDB requirements, etc.).
5. Language Proficiency
Mandatory: Proficiency in both Bahasa Melayu and English for daily work communication, including issuing verbal instructions, conducting technical briefings, and completing written records.
Added Advantage: Proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin) will be considered a significant advantage, facilitating effective communication with Chinese project management teams and domestic suppliers.
6. Personal Attributes
Age Requirement: 25 years or above, in good physical health, capable of working in outdoor and elevated environments.
High sense of safety responsibility and risk awareness, with the ability to exercise firm management and stand by safety principles.
