Key Responsibilities

• Lead Oracle-to-PostgreSQL database migration and modernization initiatives.
• Define PostgreSQL architecture, including HA/DR, scalability, performance, and security.
• Drive schema conversion, data migration, replication, and validation activities.
• Provide technical guidance to application, migration, and testing teams.
• Lead database consolidation, optimization, and cloud database adoption initiatives.
• Prepare architecture documentation and engage stakeholders on technical decisions.

Requirements

• Minimum 15 years of experience in enterprise database architecture and administration.
• Strong hands-on experience in Oracle-to-PostgreSQL migration projects.
• Expert knowledge of PostgreSQL administration, performance tuning, and optimization.
• Experience managing Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and IBM DB2 environments.
• Expertise in HA/DR architecture, replication, failover, clustering, backup, and recovery.
• Experience with Oracle GoldenGate, IBM CDC, HVR/Fivetran, or similar replication technologies.
• Experience leading large-scale database modernization or consolidation programs.
• Experience in banking, financial services, logistics, or other large enterprise environments.
• Strong stakeholder management, documentation, and communication skills.

Preferred

• Experience with Azure Database for PostgreSQL, Azure SQL, AWS RDS, or similar cloud database platforms.
• Exposure to database automation, DevOps, or Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
• Relevant PostgreSQL, Oracle, Cloud, or Database certifications.

D365 CRM Architect:  Someone who designs and owns end‑to‑endDynamics 365 CRM / Customer Engagement solutions (data model, integrations,security, CX, etc.), not just a developer or admin.

AWS Connect:  A cloud‑based contact‑center platform from AWS,usually integrated with CRM. We want someone who’s designed or integratedcontact‑center workflows with D365.

K2 / Nintex + SharePoint:  Workflow and automation tools (K2/ Nintex) sitting on top of SharePoint, often used for approvals, forms, andprocess automation in D365 ecosystems.

Responsibilities

• Lead assessment of all Oracle databases for migration to Postgres.
• Define target Postgres architecture, including HA, scalability, and DR strategies.
• Drive schema transformation, data profiling, and conversion approach definition.
• Recommend the appropriate commercial/open‑source Postgres distribution.
• Conduct workshops to explain DB architecture decisions and impacts.
• Provide guidance to application, migration, and testing teams on DB–related topics.

Primary Skills

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise database architecture and administration.
• Expert‑level proficiency in PostgreSQL, including tuning and optimization.
• Strong experience with Oracle → Postgres schema, datatype, and code conversion.
• Expertise in designing HA/DR setups—replication, failover, clustering.
• Proficiency with HVR (Fivetran) for real‑time data replication and migration pipelines.
• Expertise in Google AlloyDB on-premises implementations.
• Strong skills in workload analysis, capacity planning, and performance diagnostics.
• Experience with migration tools, and data validation methods.
• Ability to evaluate and recommend Postgres distributions.
• Strong documentation and stakeholder‑communication skills.
