Job Description:

• Create invoices on a day-to-day basis, including reviewing, classifying, calculating, posting, and entering invoices into the system.
• Scanning of invoices into folders and filing of invoices
• Mailing and emailing invoices to respective customers within the specified deadline
• Recording and tracking of incoming payments
• Reconciling accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly recorded.
• Sending out monthly Debtors' Statements and emailing to respective customers
• Provide monthly Debtors' Aging Reports to management
• Resolve discrepancies in invoices and payments
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer accounts
• Knowledge of accounts payable is an added advantage
• Any other ad hoc task

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma / Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• At least 1–2 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or general accounting (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply)
• Able to handle daily invoice processing including reviewing, classifying, calculating, posting, and system entry
• Familiar with document scanning, filing, and proper record-keeping of invoices
• Able to prepare and send invoices to customers via mail/email within deadlines
• Experience in recording and tracking incoming payments accurately
• Knowledge in accounts reconciliation, especially Accounts Receivable ledger
• Able to prepare monthly Debtors’ Statements and Debtors’ Aging Reports
• Good problem-solving skills to resolve discrepancies in invoices and payments
• Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to maintain accurate customer account records
• Basic knowledge of Accounts Payable will be an added advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems/software
• Good communication skills and able to liaise with customers professionally
• Able to handle ad-hoc tasks assigned by management

1. Sokongan Pelaporan & Perakaunan
2. Urus kitaran penuh Akaun Belum Bayar, termasuk pemprosesan invois, pengesahan dan pengeposan
3. Membantu dalam aktiviti penutupan akhir bulan dan akhir tahun, termasuk penyediaan jurnal, akruan dan prabayar
4. Menyediakan dan menyelenggara jadual untuk akaun kunci kira-kira dan memastikan dokumentasi sokongan yang betul
5. Lakukan analisis varians dan siasat percanggahan dalam data kewangan
6. Memastikan pematuhan dengan piawaian perakaunan dan dasar syarikat yang berkenaan
7. Berhubung dengan juruaudit luar dengan menyediakan jadual audit, dokumen sokongan dan menjawab pertanyaan audit
8. Pantau dan tingkatkan kawalan dalaman ke atas proses pelaporan kewangan
9. Bekerjasama dengan jabatan lain untuk memastikan data kewangan yang tepat dan pengiktirafan perbelanjaan yang betul
10. Pengurusan & Pematuhan Cukai
11. Menyokong penyediaan pengiraan cukai korporat dan penyata cukai

About the role…

ALP, an innovative firm specializing in logistics property development, is seeking an Account Executive to support our growing operations in Malaysia. The role’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to full set accounts, financial reporting, and compliance functions.

Internally, this role works closely with the finance team and contributes to both accounting operations and tax-related matters.

What you will do…

1. Reporting & Accounting Support
2. Manage full cycle of Accounts Payable, including invoice processing, verification, and posting
3. Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, including preparation of journals, accruals, and prepayments
4. Prepare and maintain schedules for balance sheet accounts and ensure proper supporting documentation
5. Perform variance analysis and investigate discrepancies in financial data
6. Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and company policies
7. Liaise with external auditors by preparing audit schedules, supporting documents, and responding to audit queries
8. Monitor and improve internal controls over financial reporting processes
9. Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial data and proper expense recognition
10. Tax Management & Compliance
11. Support the preparation of corporate tax computations and tax returns
12. Assist in indirect tax compliance and reporting
13. Liaise with tax agents and support tax audits or queries
14. Ensure proper tax treatment in accounting transaction
15. System & Process Improvement
16. Support ERP/finance system implementation and enhancement
17. Ensure accurate tax and accounting configuration in accounting systems
18. Develop and maintain SOPs for accounting processes

Job scopes:

• Coordinate and maintain Company’s QHSSE accreditation, including ISO 9001 and Responsible Care
• Conduct Internal Audits for Company’s Internal Work Process
• Conduct periodical Internal SOP refresher training
• Takes on the role of Safety Officer in the Office (Office Fire Warden & First Aider)

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of experience as a safety officer
• WSQ Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health ( Level B )
