• Comfortable navigating ambiguity, coming to terms with and bringing order to an at times fragmented technological, organizational and operational landscape.

1. Daily Operations & Reconciliation

• Reconcile daily sales reports against showroom data

• Assist in preparing salesforce and showroom performance reports

• Process customer refund requests with proper documentation

• Manage petty cash, including reimbursements and tracking
  
  

2. Accounts & Payments

• Perform bank reconciliations

• Prepare vendor payment listings and support payment processing

• Review and reconcile merchant statements and cash receipts

3. Closing & Reporting

• Prepare basic month-end schedules (e.g. prepayments, accruals, fixed assets)

• Assist in month-end closing using ERP (Globe 3) system

• Support preparation of management accounts (P&L, Balance Sheet)
  

4. Compliance, Audit & Support

Assist in GST computation and submission

Prepare supporting documents for audit

Assist in stock take and inventory reconciliation

Follow finance SOPs and support process improvements

Perform ad hoc duties as assigned

Job Requirements

• Qualifications: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related professional accounting qualification.

• Experience: Minimum 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in a hands-on accounting or bookkeeping role. Experience handling retail, showroom, or inventory-heavy operations is highly advantageous.

• Technical Skills:

  • Strong foundational knowledge of accounting principles, basic month-end adjustments (accruals/prepayments), and corporate tax/GST regulations.

  • Proven capability in executing accurate bank, sales, and inventory reconciliations.

• System Proficiency: Strong proficiency in MS Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables). Experience working with accounting software or ERP systems is required; prior experience with Globe 3 is a distinct advantage.
