We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accountant (Full Set) to manage the full set of accounts independently from bookkeeping to financial reporting and knowledge of local accounting standards, tax laws, and compliance requirements are required.
Working Location: Menara MBMR, Mid Valley (accessible by LRT Abdullah Hukum & KTM Mid Valley)
Working Arrangement: Monday to Friday, onsite
Working hour: 9am – 6pm (include 1 hour break)
Key Responsibilities
Manage full set of accounts including general ledger, accounts receivable (AR), accounts payable (AP), bank reconciliation, and fixed assets.
Provide financial support for e-commerce operations, including online sales reconciliation and payment gateway settlements.
Prepare financial statements in compliance with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS).
Handle tax matters including SST submission, corporate tax filing, and liaising with LHDN.
Liaise with external tax agents to ensure timely and accurate tax computation, filing, and compliance.
Coordinate with external auditors and ensure timely completion of audit requirements.
Ensure compliance with Companies Act 2016, EPF, SOCSO, and other statutory requirements.
Oversee cash flow management and prepare forecasts to support business decisions.
Support management reporting with analysis of financial performance and variance explanations.
Assist in process improvement and implementation of accounting best practices.
Perform any other duties assigned by the company from time to time.
Skills & Qualifications
Degree/Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA, MICPA) are highly valued.
Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience.
Prior exposure in accounting firms (audit/tax) or e-commerce industry preferred.
Strong knowledge of MFRS and Malaysian tax regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software.
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently.
