About the role

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor (C&S / M&E) to join the dynamic team at Hong Poh Engineering Construction Sdn Bhd in Penang. You will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of construction projects, ensuring accurate cost estimates, budgeting, and cost control.

What you'll be doing

• BQ and quotation for the project.
• Source more quality Subcon and suppliers.
• Update supplier and Subcon's latest costing.
• Site visit and update project progress for each project.
• Coordinate and liaise with suppliers or Subcon for pricing samples, etc.
• Ability to source for supplies and quotation for tendering.
• Evaluation of price comparison and costing summary.
• Taking off quantities for tender.
• To assist in tender documentation/cost tabulation.
• Prepare tender and contract documentation including collection and checking for completeness of documents.
• Provide support in any other adhoc duties as assigned from time to time.

What we're looking for

• Possess at least a Certificate/Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveyor or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry
• Has excellent communication and good negotiation skills, revised cost & quotation if/when required.
• Background in business skills, management, budgeting and analysis.
• Computer literate with proficient in major Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Excel and etc.
• Proficient in MS Project.

Roles & Responsibilities

This position will encompass both Accounts payable and receivable functions.

-Manage AP and foreign currency payments.

-Manage AR and credit control.

-General Ledger and balance sheet reconciliation.

Requirements for the role

Peranan & Tanggungjawab

Jawatan ini akan merangkumi kedua-dua fungsi Akaun belum bayar dan akaun belum terima.

Sebagai Eksekutif Akaun, objektif keseluruhan anda adalah untuk bekerjasama dengan pasukan kewangan dengan bertanggungjawab terutamanya dalam pelaksanaan dan pengurusan portfolio AP dan AR harian di jabatan.

Tanggungjawab utama akan melibatkan skop berikut:

-Mengurus pembayaran AP dan mata wang asing.

-Mengurus AR dan kawalan kredit.

-Lejar Am dan penyelarasan kunci kira-kira.

-Berhubung dengan operasi dan jabatan lain untuk mengumpulkan maklumat kewangan dan memasukkan maklumat ini ke dalam sistem operasi dan kewangan.

-Membantu dengan keperluan audit akhir bulan, akhir suku tahunan dan akhir tahun.

-Sediakan jurnal akhir bulan.

-Menyediakan ramalan/analisis aliran tunai setiap hari/bulan.

-Penyelarasan bank, termasuk penyelarasan pelbagai mata wang.

-Memastikan akaun penghutang syarikat dibayar mengikut terma perdagangan.

-Menjalankan pemeriksaan kredit ke atas pelanggan baharu.

-Mengeluarkan penyata bulanan.

-Menyediakan laporan mengenai lejar penghutang.

Keperluan untuk peranan tersebut

-Warganegara Malaysia berumur di bawah 40 tahun.

-Mempunyai kelayakan minimum Diploma LCCI dalam Perakaunan atau ijazah sarjana muda.

-3-5 tahun pengalaman dalam mengendalikan fungsi perakaunan, idealnya dalam industri sektor logistik yang serupa.

-Pengalaman dalam menyelaraskan akaun lejar am dan transaksi mata wang asing akan menjadi satu kelebihan.

-Pengalaman menggunakan CargoWise sebelum ini adalah lebih baik.

-Kemahiran Excel pertengahan.

-Pendekatan kerja yang sangat profesional dan keupayaan untuk mematuhi tarikh akhir yang ketat.

-Mesti mahir dalam Bahasa Inggeris bertulis dan lisan serta fasih berbahasa Inggeris dan Mandarin/Cina.

Imbuhan boleh dirunding dan akan berdasarkan pengalaman dan keupayaan serta sikap kerja calon yang berjaya yang akan menghadiri temu duga secara bersemuka.

角色與職責

該職位將涵蓋應付帳款和應收帳款兩方面的功能。

身為客戶經理，您的整體目標是與財務團隊合作，主要負責部門內應付帳款和應收帳款組合的日常執行和管理。

主要職責範圍如下：

-管理應付帳款和外幣支付。

-管理應收帳款和信用控制。

-總帳與資產負債表核對。

-與營運部門和其他部門聯絡，收集財務信息，並將這些資訊輸入營運和財務系統。

-協助完成月末、季末和年末的審計工作。

-編製月末會計分錄。

- 編制每日/每月現金流量預測/分析。

-銀行對賬，包括多幣種對帳。

-確保公司應收帳款以交易條款支付。

-對新客戶進行信用調查。

-每月出具帳單。

-編製應收帳款分類帳報表。

職位要求

-馬來西亞，年齡40歲以下。

- 至少持有LCCI會計專業文憑或學士學位。

- 3-5 年會計工作經驗，最好是在類似的物流業。

-有核對總帳帳戶和外幣交易的經驗者優先考慮。

-有使用CargoWise的經驗者優先考慮。

-具備中階Excel技能。

-工作態度高度專業，能夠在緊迫的期限內完成任務。

-必須精通英語書面和口語，並能流利使用馬來語和普通話/漢語。
