We are seeking a high calibre individual to join the Transformation and Program Management office of the CEO that is responsible for driving org wide cross functional transformation programs across operating model redesign, process optimization, strategic partnership launches and post-merger integration. We are looking for a highly driven and hands-on Director of Operations to lead and scale operational excellence for our Malaysia business. This role will act as a strategic partner to the Malaysia leadership team and support day-to-day execution, operational scalability, and cross-functional alignment.

The role will oversee core operational functions including Supply Chain, Logistics, Warehousing, Reverse Logistics / RMA Operations, and broader operational process management. Over time, the scope may expand into areas such as Air Conditioning Operations, Business Excellence, and Customer Experience.

This position is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments and is equally comfortable solving strategic challenges while diving deep into operational execution.

Responsibilities:

Operations Leadership

• Lead and oversee Malaysia operational functions across warehousing, fulfilment, logistics, reverse logistics (RMA), and supply chain operations.
• Drive operational scalability, efficiency, and process optimisation across all operational touchpoints.
• Build operational frameworks, SOPs, reporting structures, and governance processes to support business growth.
• Partner closely with regional and local stakeholders to align operational priorities with overall business objectives.

Supply Chain & Logistics

• Manage end-to-end supply chain operations including inventory planning, inbound logistics, distribution, and vendor management.
• Monitor and improve key operational KPIs such as inventory health, fulfilment SLA, delivery performance, return rates, and operational costs.
• Identify risks, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies within the supply chain and implement sustainable solutions.
• Work closely with 3PLs, warehouse operators, and logistics partners to ensure service quality and operational reliability.

RMA & Service Operations

• Oversee reverse logistics and RMA operations to ensure timely resolution and positive customer outcomes.
• Improve operational turnaround times, repair/replacement workflows, and escalation management processes.
• Collaborate with customer experience and product teams to identify recurring operational or product-related issues.

Cross-Functional Business Operations

• Support leadership in operational planning, business reviews, and strategic initiatives.
• Drive data-backed decision making through reporting, dashboards, and operational analytics.
• Lead or support operational transformation projects, automation initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Build and mentor high-performing operations teams across multiple operational functions.

This role leads risk-based internal audits aligned with local regulations and business strategy. You will independently execute audit engagements, assess internal controls and risk exposure, and deliver clear reports to senior management and the Board. By communicating findings, driving remediation, and supporting regulatory reviews and training, you ensure strong governance and continuous improvement. The role also enhances audit efficiency through data-driven monitoring models.

Job Description:

• Based on local regulations and business strategy, establish risk-driven audit plan for responsible entities, independently execute and report audit projects to the Board of Directors as well as senior management;
• Understand local regulatory environment, the company's strategies and business layout, identify key risk points, evaluate the internal control, risk status and management of main business operations, and prepare audit reports that meet internal and local regulatory requirements;
