• Position : Key Account Manager (Freight Forwarding / Logistics)
• Location : Cecil Street- Near Raffles Place MRT
• Working hours : Monday - Friday, 9.00am - 6.00pm
•  Salary(commensurate on experience) : Up to $6500 + Performance Bonus

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of IT logistics accounts, covering customer relationships, rates, scope, escalations and account growth.
• Take over assigned accounts from senior team members through a structured handover and act as the customer’s main commercial contact.
• Onboard newly won accounts from the business development team by assigning ownership, introducing the support team and setting up account maintenance plans.
• Grow accounts through lane expansion, new geographies and value-added services such as IOR/EOR and ITAD.
• Quote with commercial discipline, manage scope changes and monitor margins, billing and ageing receivables.
• Work closely with sales operations and operations teams on quotations, execution and customer support.
• Maintain visibility on revenue, pipeline conversion and expected workload through regular forecasting and reporting.

Requirements

• At least 4 to 5 years of account management experience in freight forwarding, logistics or supply chain.
• Exposure to IT logistics, IOR/EOR or value-added logistics services will be an advantage.
• Strong customer-facing communication skills, with confidence in handling commercial discussions and escalations.
• Commercially minded, with good understanding of rates, margins, contracts and negotiation.
• Organized and able to manage a portfolio of accounts, maintain CRM updates and provide reliable forecasts.
• Interest in developing specialist knowledge in IOR/EOR and IT logistics will be an advantage.
• Interest in progressing towards team leadership over time will be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Take full commercial ownership of a portfolio of IT-focused accounts, managing client relationships, pricing, service scope, issue resolution, and business development opportunities.
• Transition customer accounts from senior colleagues through a structured onboarding process, becoming the primary commercial point of contact within the first 3 months.
• Support the seamless integration of newly acquired customers by coordinating account setup, introducing key stakeholders, assigning operational ownership, and establishing account management plans.
• Drive account growth by identifying opportunities for service expansion, entering new markets, and promoting value-added solutions such as IOR/ EOR and IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) services.
• Safeguard account profitability by maintaining pricing discipline, monitoring scope changes, overseeing billing matters, and tracking outstanding receivables. Escalate risks that may affect margins or collections.
• Collaborate closely with operations and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) on quotations, service delivery, and customer requirements. Serve as the commercial lead to ensure effective internal coordination.
• Monitor account performance, maintain accurate forecasts, and provide regular reporting on revenue trends, sales pipeline conversion, and anticipated workload.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in account management within the freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain industry.
• Exposure to IT logistics, IOR/EOR services, or other value-added logistics solutions is highly advantageous.
• Strong client management and communication skills, with the confidence to handle commercial discussions, negotiations, and issue resolution directly with customers.
• Solid commercial acumen with a good understanding of pricing strategies, profit margins, contractual matters, and negotiation processes.
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple customer accounts, maintain accurate CRM records, and develop reliable business forecasts.
