Role Overview
We are seeking a highlystrategic and commercially driven VP, Head of Growth & Activation to leadecosystem growth, activation, transaction adoption, and partner participationacross Liquid’s Singapore market ecosystem and cross-border QR payment network.
This role will serve asthe overall accountable lead across:
· Network Growth &Activation
· Merchant Acquiring(Direct)
· Growth Marketing &Enablement
within the ACT(Activation, Conversion & Transactions) function.
The successful candidatewill oversee ecosystem participation growth across issuers, acquirers,merchants, and payment partners, while driving measurable transaction adoption,corridor expansion, and ecosystem activation outcomes across the SGQR+/RoamQR framework.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Ecosystem Growth& Network Expansion
· Defineand lead ecosystem growth strategies across issuer, acquirer, merchant, andpayment partner participation.
· Drivecorridor expansion initiatives across domestic and cross-border paymentecosystems.
· Developstrategic frameworks to strengthen:
- ecosystemparticipation,
- transactionadoption,
- merchantacceptance,
- andnetwork utilization.
· Buildand manage strategic relationships with:
- issuers,
- acquirers,
- banks,
- wallets,
- paymentnetworks,
- andecosystem partners.
· Identifynew growth opportunities across payment corridors, merchant ecosystems, andregional partnerships.
2. Issuer, Acquirer& Merchant Ecosystem Leadership
· Overseegrowth and activation initiatives across issuer and acquiring ecosystems withinSingapore.
· Drivemerchant participation growth across both direct merchant acquiring and partneracquirer channels
· Ensureecosystem stakeholders are effectively activated to drive transaction growthand corridor utilization.
· Workclosely with regional and overseas partners to align growth priorities andmarket activation initiatives.
· Supportstrategic expansion and participation growth of new payment partners andcorridors.
3. Transaction Growth& Ecosystem Activation
· Ownand drive transaction growth outcomes across the payment ecosystem.
· Leadactivation strategies focused on:
- transactionadoption,
- activeusage growth,
- repeattransaction behavior,
- corridorutilization,
- andmerchant participation.
· Driveecosystem-wide initiatives to increase transaction participation acrossdomestic and cross-border payment flows.
· Workclosely with Growth Marketing & Enablement teams to execute ecosystemcampaigns, partner activations, and merchant visibility initiatives.
· Monitor ecosystemperformance metrics to identify growth opportunities and underperformingsegments.
4. Growth Marketing& Campaign Leadership
· Defineecosystem campaign priorities aligned to transaction growth and activationobjectives.
· Overseepartner activation programs, ecosystem campaigns, merchant visibilityinitiatives, and usage growth activities.
· Coordinatewith internal stakeholders and external agencies to support:
- partnercampaigns,
- ecosystemmarketing,
- POSM/decalinitiatives,
- merchantactivation programs,
- andmarket awareness efforts.
· Ensureall activation initiatives are commercially aligned and measurable againstecosystem growth KPIs.
5. Cross-FunctionalLeadership & Ecosystem Alignment
· Actas the central growth leader coordinating priorities across:
- ProductStrategy & Solutions,
- MerchantAcquiring,
- GrowthMarketing & Enablement,
- EcosystemEnablement,
- Operations& Support,
- Technology& Network Operations.
· Ensurestrong alignment between:
- commercialpriorities,
- ecosystemparticipation,
- productcapabilities,
- growthinitiatives,
- activationobjectives.
· Driveexecution alignment across internal and external stakeholder groups to supportscalable ecosystem growth.
What We’re Looking for:
· 12+years of experience in payments, fintech, banking, digital wallets, orfinancial services.
