Professional Competencies
Industry Experience:
8+ years of senior management experience in the integrated home renovation/furnishing industry, including at least 2 years of management experience in the Southeast Asian market. Familiarity with BCA policies and RCEP supply chain regulations.
Strategic Tools:
Proficient in SWOT analysis and Balanced Scorecard; able to use ERP systems (e.g., SAP) to oversee business operations in Singapore.
Key Responsibilities & Tasks
Strategic Planning & Objective Management
Develop the company’s 1-3 year marketing strategic plan and annual marketing plan, clarifying market positioning, target customer segments, and competitive strategies, and execute upon approval by the General Manager.
Decompose sales targets for the retail, design, and marketing departments, monitor quarterly/monthly progress, and dynamically adjust strategies in response to market changes (e.g., seasonal demand, policy adjustments).
Lead the preparation and execution control of the annual marketing budget (including advertising, promotions, channel expenses, etc.), ensuring maximum ROI.
Market Analysis & Brand Building
Organize market research to analyze trends in Singapore's integrated home renovation industry, competitor movements (e.g., pricing strategies, new product developments), and shifts in customer demand, producing data-driven reports to guide product development.
Formulate brand development strategies, oversee online and offline brand promotion (e.g., social media, exhibitions, KOL collaborations), and enhance brand awareness and reputation.
Manage brand crisis communication, swiftly respond to negative public sentiment (e.g., escalated customer complaints, construction disputes), and safeguard the company’s reputation.
Sales Management & Channel Optimization
Guide the retail department in developing in-store sales strategies, promotional campaigns, and customer conversion processes to increase average transaction value and repeat purchase rates.
Expand diversified sales channels (e.g., collaborations with property developers, online stores, designer alliances) and optimize channel costs and efficiency.
Review major client contracts (e.g., bulk renovation orders from property developers) to ensure compliance and profitability.
Customer Experience & Product Collaboration
Establish a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, driving service improvements through satisfaction surveys and complaint analysis.
Collaborate with the design department to ensure design solutions align with market demands, balancing creativity with standardized cost control.
Promote product innovation: participate in new product development (e.g., eco-friendly materials, smart home packages) based on customer feedback, and formulate launch and promotion strategies.
Team Management & Cross-Departmental Collaboration
Oversee recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and motivation of managers in the three subordinate departments, fostering a high-performance collaborative team.
Conduct regular marketing coordination meetings (e.g., design-retail program alignment, marketing activity resource integration) to ensure departmental goals are aligned.
Represent the marketing function in senior management decision-making, collaborating with supply chain, finance, and other departments to optimize operational processes (e.g., order fulfillment cycles, payment collection).
