Job Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Technical Department, including Projects and Maintenance.
- Oversee the installation, testing, commissioning, and system programming of security systems in accordance with required standards.
- Oversee the whole process of project implementation, service, and maintenance workflow.
- Lead, supervise, and develop a team of 6-8 Technical Officers, Engineers, and Technicians.
- Plan, organise and allocate manpower, equipment and resources for project implementation and maintenance works.
- Prepare project and service scope, develop work plans, define resource loading, skill requirements, milestones, and performance metrics.
- Monitor project schedules, maintenance commitments, and service performance to ensure timely completion and customer satisfaction.
- Manage day-to-day client interactions and expectations for optimal results.
- Continually seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and strengthen client relationships.
- Develop a good understanding of each client’s business, organisation, and operational objectives.
- Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal departments to ensure smooth project execution and service delivery.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance in resolving technical issues encountered by the team.
- Ensure smooth progress and timely completion of all project and maintenance commitments.
- Track and identify opportunities to improve technical methodologies, operational processes, and training programs.
- Build and maintain strong technical relationships with prospective, new, and existing customers.
- Set departmental targets, implement guidelines, and provide coaching and support to team members.
- Communicate effectively with clients to identify needs and recommend appropriate technical solutions and strategies.
- Handle customer complaints and ensure timely resolution.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, workplace safety requirements, and statutory regulations.
- Participate in performance evaluation and career development planning for team members.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by Management.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or its equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience with a demonstrable record of success in security systems, projects, and maintenance operations.
- Experience leading and managing a technical team.
- Good communicator with excellent coordination and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Committed individual with great initiative and strong problem-solving skills.
- Good leadership, planning, and organisational abilities.
- Must be a team player with the ability to work independently.
- Experience in the security and CCTV industry and exposure to products and operations will be an added advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
