Sales Executive / Sales Engineer (Industrial Automation)

Location: Bayan Lepas, Pulau Penang

Working Days: Monday – Friday (5 days week)

Basic Salary: RM3,000 – RM4,000 + Commission + Car Allowance + Bonus

Job Overview

This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy technical discussions with engineers, solving manufacturing challenges, and building long-term customer partnerships.

Candidates with experience in automation components, sensors, pneumatics, machine building, or engineering distribution are strongly encouraged to apply.

Job Responsibilities

• Promote company products including automation components, pneumatic systems, sensors, precision measurement equipment, and engineering solutions

• Provide technical consultation and product recommendations

• Prepare quotations and follow up on sales opportunities

• Maintain strong relationships with engineers, purchasing teams, and factory management

• Achieve sales targets and contribute to company growth

Job Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering or related field

• Experience in industrial automation, engineering components, packaging machinery, semiconductor equipment, or manufacturing industry is an advantage

• Fresh graduates with strong interest in technical sales are welcome

• Able to communicate in English and Mandarin to support Mandarin-speaking customers

• Self-motivated, responsible, and result-oriented

• Possess own transport and willing to travel

JOB TASKS:

• To handle day to day accounting functions and ensure proper maintenance of accounting records and follow-up matters.
• To maintain proper filing of accounting documents for record keeping.
• Facilitate and prepare the monthly SST report and submission.
• To handle general administrative task and clerical support.
• The ability to operate and navigate e-invoicing software, have knowledge of how e-invoicing systems integrate with existing accounting, accounts payable/receivable (AP/AR), to ensure smooth data flow and automation.
• Other tasks as assigned by management from time to time.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Candidate must possess at least a Graduate Diploma / Post Graduate Diploma / Business Studies / Administration / Management / Finance / Accounting, others or equivalent.
• Required minimum 2 year of working experience in related field.
• Fresh graduates in relevant discipline are encourage to apply.
• Required language(s): Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Required skills: MS Excel, MS Office Accounting system will be an added advantage.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare quotations for construction projects

• Monitor project costs and track expenses

• Keep detailed records of material usage, deliveries, and site transactions to support invoicing and cost control

• Assess and process Variation Orders (VOs), progress claims, and final accounts in accordance with contract terms

• Assist in dispute resolution and the preparation of claims documentation when required

• Ensure all work complies with contract terms
