What you'll do

You'll support the marketing team across content, social, and campaigns. That means creating assets, scheduling and posting content, drafting copy, and helping track how things are performing. You'll get genuine ownership of tasks, not just support work.

Day to day, you can expect to:

• Draft and schedule social media posts across LinkedIn and other channels

• Create graphics and short-form content using tools like Canva and Figma

• Help produce email newsletters and campaign assets in Mailchimp or similar

• Write first drafts of blog posts, case studies, and other marketing copy

• Pull together basic performance reports from Google Analytics and social dashboards

• Support with research, competitor analysis, and audience insights

• Work with AI tools (Claude, Midjourney, ElevenLabs) to speed up asset creation

• Coordinate with the wider team to keep campaign timelines on track

What we're looking for

You're studying marketing, communications, media, or something adjacent. You've made content before, whether for a student society, personal project, side hustle, or previous placement. A portfolio or examples of past work is a plus, not a requirement.

You should be comfortable with social media beyond just being a user, curious about AI tools, and willing to write a lot of first drafts. You don't need to be an expert. You do need to be organised and not afraid to ask questions.

• Some experience with video editing (even phone-level)

Responsibilities

IOR/EOR Operations & Documentation:

• Assist in pricing, coordinating and managing the end-to-end IOR/EOR process for global shipments.
• Coordinate with customers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to facilitate smooth clearance and delivery of goods.
• Verify shipping documents, including invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin, to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain accurate and organised records of all shipments, customs entries, and compliance-related documentation.
• Assist with the preparation of import/export permits, declarations, and other required trade documents.

Agent Communication, Sourcing & Pricing:

• Collaborate with agents to gather required information and ensure compliance with local regulations. 
• Support pricing discussions and negotiations with partners to achieve competitive and sustainable rates.
• Identify and source new overseas agents or service partners when required to support operational and pricing needs.
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with existing and new partners.

Regulatory Trade & Compliance:

• Stay updated on customs regulations and trade policies in various countries.
• Ensure all shipments comply with relevant import/export laws and guidelines.

Problem Resolution & Ad-hoc:

• Identify and resolve operational issues, such as shipment delays, missing documents, or customs holds.
• Escalate critical issues to the relevant department as needed.
• Provide general administrative support to the operations team as required.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma in International Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 1 - 2 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or trade operations.
• Familiarity with IOR/EOR processes and international trade regulations is a plus.
• With knowledge of APAC trade regulations is an advantage.
