Key Job Purpose

Supporting the CFO, will be responsible to

1. Execute strategies as defined in the regional treasury policy which is cash management, funding and capital planning, foreign exchange and bank relationship management.
2. Ensure compliance to governance framework and internal controls.
3. Ensure compliance to accounting guidelines and rules for hedge accounting.
4. Regional monitoring and actions to maintain RHQ and affiliates free cash flow of funds.

Job Description

Regional cash management

• Daily cash balances monitoring to determine regional cash positions.
• Execute cash pooling in accordance to policy.
• Responsible for preparing, or facilitating the preparation of an annual budget, as well as regularly monitoring and comparing the actual revenues and expenses incurred against such budget.
• Forecast sources and uses of cash.
• Ensuring sufficient cash for SAP single entity monthly operations.
• Checking payment to vendors and employees for SAP single entity.

Fund and Capital planning

• Track and manage internal and external debt obligations.
• Support CFO in managing inter-company funding requirements including evaluating funding parameters in accordance to the regional treasury policy.
• Monitor subsidiaries that are on funding support as determined by CFO.
• Track financial ratios, trends, concerns, and assessments of the organization’s fiscal health.
• Execute dividend policy.

Foreign exchange

• Assess and update foreign currency exposure in the timely manner.
• Execute hedging and settlement of hedging in accordance to the hedging policy.
• Reporting to global treasury regularly in accordance to internal control as set out in hedging policy (monthly, quarterly).
• Support CFO in developing the annual hedging policy.
• Execute financial reporting in accordance to hedge accounting policy.

Bank relationship management

• Regularly meeting with bank officers to (a) provide feedback to the bank about users’ experiences and obtain resolutions (b) collect new product information and disseminate to relevant parties within Sysmex for actions (c) consider and implement process improvements with the banks.
• Carry out regular RFQ and RFP with the banks to ensure that Sysmex have competitive products and fees.
• Regularly review the fees paid by Sysmex and look for areas to reduce and contain such fees.
• Regularly review the bank’s credit ratings and initiate discussions with global treasury and CFO to determine course of actions in the event of changes to such ratings.

Governance Framework and Internal Controls

• Implement and maintain dual signatory access to banking transactions in accordance to regional treasury policy.
• Ensure all new and termination of bank and financial institution relationships is duly approved in accordance to the Prior Approval policy.
• Ensure fraud prevention actions as set out in regional treasury management policy is implemented and adhered to.
• Ensure compliance to regional treasury policy on matters of (a) dual signatory and authorized signatory to banking transactions, (b) guarantees and collaterals, (c) banking and financial laws and regulations and (d) foreign currency risk management.

Ad-hoc

• Support accounting team in preparing, reporting and invoicing subsidiaries for management fees.
• Any other duties as assigned by CFO.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university in Accounting, Banking & Finance, Economics, or Statistics. ACCA certification is also acceptable.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Treasury Operations.
• Knowledge of hedge accounting, SAP, and treasury systems.
• Strong team player with a curious mindset and a willingness to learn.
• CFA or CTP qualification is an advantage.

Key Job Purpose

This role supports the Finance function by managing billing operations, fixed asset accounting, sales reporting, and month‑end activities. The incumbent ensures accuracy, completeness, and timely processing of financial transactions in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.

Job Description

Billing & Invoicing

• Check, prepare, and issue third‑party billings, including billings for overseas customers.
• Generate local delivery and service billings to customers.
• Prepare and issue credit notes (CN) for warranty claims.
• Ensure billing accuracy and compliance with internal controls.

Sales Reporting

• Prepare and submit the Sales Flash report for management review.

Fixed Asset Management

• Create fixed assets in the fixed asset module.
• Post asset acquisitions and perform monthly depreciation runs.
• Reconcile fixed asset listings against consignment stock.
• Support periodic fixed asset counts and audits.

Month‑End Accounting

• Ensure all GR/IR postings are completed and fully recorded during the month‑end closing process.
• Perform reconciliations related to fixed assets and billing transactions.

Document Control

• Control and ensure delivery notes are properly signed, returned, and filed for audit and record‑keeping purposes.

Ad‑Hoc & Support Activities

• Support other Finance activities and ad‑hoc tasks as assigned, including finance support during asset counts.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 1–3 years of working experience in finance or accounting.
• Hands‑on experience with billing processes, fixed asset accounting, and month‑end closing.
• Experience using ERP systems (e.g. SAP or equivalent) is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Key Job Purpose:

The Quality Management (QM) Specialist is to support the QMR in ensuring the organization and its affiliates adhere to all applicable local, regulatory and quality standards associated with Enterprise Risk Management. As Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Enterprise Risks per ISO31000 and other ISO Standards for QMS, such as ISO13485, ISO14971, ISO27001, ISO14001 and WSH regulations.

The role serves to maintain a high standard of compliance, effectiveness, and continuous improvement throughout the organization's identified risks. The role will coordinate with Process Owners and appointed Risk Management PICs in Affiliates, monitor identified risks are managed in an effectiveness and timely manner. Report the progress of Enterprise Risks to Risk Management Committee in a biyearly manner.

Risk Management

• Coordinate and work with Process Owners to address and manage the identified risks, including the execution of their effective controls.
• Ensure effectiveness of risk control measures are executed by Process Owners where documented evidence indicated in the Risk Register are available and uploaded.
• Follow-up with QMR and relevant HODs on new processes or products or business model which may an impact to operational and governance processes.
• Analyse and do trending of enterprise risks within SAP and across the region which requires escalation or proposed sources of improvement to QMR. .
• Support QMR in coordinating the Risk Management Committee meeting at SAP in biyearly manner. Assist to prepare updates and follow up actions from the Risk Management Committee meeting.
• Extend consistent practices of Enterprise Risk Management to Affiliates.
• SME for Risk Management and provide training on Risk Managements to SAP and affiliates.

Audit Support (Internal and external)

• Assist in the planning, execution, and follow-up of internal audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
• Support external audits by coordinating audit activities, preparing documentation, and ensuring audit readiness associated with Enterprise Risks
• Ensure that audit findings associated with Enterprise Risks are addressed through effective corrective actions and continuous improvement.
• Perform analysis trending on Corporate Audit findings for all affiliates in SAP and share result to QMR for reporting to Top Management.

 Environmental & WSH Support

• Support in coordinating with relevant stakeholders and assessing the impact of environmental / WSH information to the organization.
• Identify environmental issues that impact the organization, associated risks are included in Legal Risk Register and control measures are effectively put in place.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in a relevant field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Quality Assurance role within the Medical Devices industry
• Certified Internal Auditor for ISO 13485, ISO 9001, ISO 31000 and/or ISO 14001

Key Responsibilities

Key Job Purposes :

Management of the assigned regional R&D activities pursuing the strategy set by corporate R&D headquarter in Sysmex Corporation, Japan. Achieving technology strategy (incl. technology acquire /scouting, KOL network and identification of regional requirement for Diagnostics business and/or R&D). Plan and practice to promote specific R&D activity and technology acquisition.

Key activities include acquisition of technologies represented by AI technology and digital technology, building relationships with technology partners as R&D networking, and support for projects including assisting the head of the new R&D center in the AP (including the project organized by Sysmex Corporation).

Job Responsibilities:

1. Technology development

Conduct research and development on elemental technologies (medical data science including AI) to realize digital medical care and acquire technology.

Utilizing data analysis technologies such as model construction and machine learning for medical data, digital medical care.

• Based on the annual plan and/or strategies, to develop the elemental technology regarding AI, Medical Digital Transformation and Data Science in collaboration with regional partners.
• Review the research and development status and revise and propose updated plan for development the elemental technology.
• Lead development of the proof of concept model (concept application) to accelerate regional R&D activities.

2. Research Activity

Search for regional needs in digital and other areas in the Asia Pacific (AP) region, and input information to corporate R&D headquarter in Sysmex Japan for formulating technology and business strategies.

• Plan / update a master plan for research activity.
• Analyze technology trend and market information for gaps, product positioning and strategy development.

3. Collaboration Activity

Promote collaboration with various partners (companies, academia, medical institutions, etc.) in elemental technology acquisition activities.

• Develop and maintain technological/business relations with key opinion leaders and various scientists in top academia, medical institute, private hospitals, healthcare, government institutions, diagnostic lab chains and other related start-ups.
• Drive the co-creation in collaboration with the above partners and execute specific R&D themes.

4. Organization Support

Assist the Head of the new R&D center in the AP to support cross-organizational activities.

• Support with the Head in terms of building organization
• Work closely with Technology Strategy Division of Sysmex Corporation.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor of Science Degree /Informatics Degree with 5 years of development experience in fields related to informatics such as digital (Dx) and AI
• Experience in leading and giving instructions in a small team
• Proficiency in Japanese is a must
