Job Description:

Student Outreach, Mentoring and Engagement  

The Youth Worker will work with the SDT to conductproactive student engagement during non-curriculum periods including recess,lunch breaks, and after-school. This involves building positive relationshipswith primary school students, and creating an inclusive environment thatpromotes school connectedness. The Youth Worker will observe studentinteractions and behaviours and support students with socio-emotional needs asidentified by the school. Any concerns regarding student welfare or behaviourshall be escalated to HOD/Student Management (SM), YHs or SH/SM or any of thedesignated school personnel in accordance with the school’s protocols.

The Youth Worker will be responsible for the maintenanceand management of the school’s A.S.P.I.R.E Room during recess, after school hours,and at stipulated times during school holidays. The responsibilities include:
