The Rotating Shift Technician is responsible for supporting 24×7 data centre operations, ensuring the reliability, safety, and continuity of all Mechanical & Electrical (M&E), critical infrastructure, and facilities systems in accordance with approved procedures, service level agreements (SLAs), and safety requirements.

·      Perform continuous monitoring, routine patrols, and inspection of data centre infrastructure, critical facilities, and associated equipment.

·      Manage day-to-day maintenance coordination, and escalate any critical troubleshooting requirements that needs to be conducted by manufacturers.

·      Conduct routine checks of M&E and critical systems performance.

·      Record and report daily operating conditions, abnormalities, and system status.

·      Supervise and oversee OEMs, subcontractors, and service vendors performing works on electrical, mechanical, fire, and critical facilities systems.

·      Ensure all vendors deliver competent, safe, and quality services in compliance with contractual obligations, site rules, and safety requirements.

·      Promptly respond to incidents, alarms, and emergency situations.

·      Execute incident escalation in accordance with approved escalation matrices and emergency response procedures.

·      Provide standby and emergency support when activated, including shift stand-in or additional coverage as required.

Skills / Qualifications

• Have a diploma / degree in chemistry with at least 2 years experience in similar role
  
• Have the ability to work in teams under pressure and flexible to work different working hours (night / day) shifts if required or necessary
  
• Good English communication skills: reading, writing, speaking
  
• Good maths skills
  
• Knowledge and experience of safe operation of testing equipment and operating in an independent / chemistry / consultant laboratory

Job Responsibilities

• Support the monitoring and oversight of compliance matters across APAC offices in accordance with Head Office policies and applicable local regulations.
• Review and update existing policies in response to changes in laws, rules, and regulatory developments.
• Maintain and ensure the bank’s compliance manual remains current and accurate.
• Follow up on implementation of compliance initiatives and perform duties assigned by the Team Head.
• Monitor and assess the effectiveness of compliance frameworks across designated APAC offices.
• Stay informed on international compliance developments and Head Office policy updates; recommend and track necessary changes across APAC entities.
• Provide advisory support on compliance-related matters (excluding legal advice).
• Review materials and initiatives for adherence to regulatory requirements, including those under the Securities and Futures Act (SFA), Financial Advisers Act (FAA), and relevant banking regulations.
• Conduct on-the-job training for new hires and support broader compliance training programs.
• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by the Team or Department Head.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; a degree in Law is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Strong working knowledge of banking/financial institution regulatory requirements and recent industry developments.
• Familiarity with SFA, FAA, and regulatory frameworks governing licensing and regulated activities.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Practical, hands-on approach with sound judgment and a balanced perspective.
• Ability to perform effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
