We are looking for a Senior Assistant Company Secretary to join our Secretariat team, reporting to Rest's Company Secretary you role will be to drive the strategic development and execution of initiatives that enhance governance and accountability. You will manage the day-to-day execution of high-quality secretariat services for a portfolio of board committees ensuring that they meet relevant regulatory and legal obligations.  

Enhance Governance and Accountability Framework

• Advise on and enhance the governance and accountability framework in collaboration with the General Manager
• Manage, maintain and enhance the delegations framework and relevant governance policies (Board Governance Policy, Fit and Proper Policy, Conflicts Management Policy, and Gifts and Benefits Policy)
• Monitor regulatory and legislative developments, advising on implementation strategies for required changes
• Provide technical advice, briefings and expertise on governance, accountability and emerging risks

Manage Board Committee Operations

• Manage the end-to-end operations of a portfolio of Board Committees, collaborating with relevant Chairs to promote effective and transparent operation
• Encourage timely implementation of committee decisions

Drive Governance Culture and Compliance

• Influence a robust and proactive governance and accountability culture through decision-making processes and strategic input
• Support the organisation in fulfilling its governance and accountability obligations
• Support the General Manager in driving continuous improvement in the management of statutory and compliance obligations

Provide Strategic Governance Advisory Support

• Build and foster trusted working relationships with senior management and directors
• Provide timely, commercially pragmatic governance and accountability advice across the organisation
• Maintain networks with peer Company Secretary Offices to share insights and best practice

Rest is hiring an Analyst, Portfolio Analytics to transform member and employer data into actionable insights. You’ll produce accurate reporting across the Member portfolio, evaluate the performance of key initiatives, and provide insights to support strategic decision‑making. You’ll partner across Member and the broader business to ensure analytics are clear and aligned to enterprise priorities, and coordinate member and employer data governance with the Enterprise Data team.

What you’ll do

• Produce and continuously improve performance reporting and dashboards for the Member portfolio, including key metrics for senior leaders.
• Analyse data across member experience, acquisition, retention and engagement to identify trends, issues and opportunities.
• Prepare clear, concise insights and narratives that inform leadership, governance forums and cross‑functional decision‑making.
• Support governance processes and materials (e.g. for CMO and GM MVC), including summaries of progress, risks and required decisions.
• Collaborate with teams across Experience Design, Journeys, Research & Insights, Digital, Marketing, Workplace, Product, Risk, Finance and Strategy to align data, assumptions and performance measures.
• Maintain high data quality standards, ensuring accuracy, consistency and reliability across all reporting and analytics outputs.

About the role

The Data Quality Management Lead defines and delivers Rest’s enterprise data quality vision, objectives and roadmap. The role leads delivery to uplift data literacy and maturity, ensure Rest meets compliance and data quality risk obligations, and embed processes that support good‑practice data quality. The Data Quality Delivery team is responsible for: -

• Driving the data quality vision and roadmap
• Implementing data quality best practices at Rest
• Protecting Rest’s most important data assets (Critical Data Elements)
• Uplifting the data quality knowledge and skills of our people

What you'll do 

• Lead and maintain the data quality capability roadmap with key data stakeholders.
• Embed data quality management into the delivery and maintenance of enterprise data assets through fit‑for‑purpose tools and processes.
• Build and support data communities of practice and uplift data literacy across Rest.
• Own the evaluation and selection of data quality tools, informed by business needs and market trends.
• Design and maintain operational processes for identifying, prioritising and monitoring Critical Data Elements.
• Partner with the Data Governance Lead to embed data quality and governance into key data delivery processes (e.g. Data Design Authority).
• Oversee data quality management and ongoing governance for prioritised CDEs on Rest’s strategic data platform.
• Work effectively within agile ways of working.

The Observability Lead is responsible for leading Rest’s observability strategy, ensuring operational excellence, and driving continuous improvement in monitoring, alerting, and incident response. This role combines hands-on operational support with strategic governance and tooling ownership and leading initially one observability engineer. The Observability Lead will triage and investigate alerts, define observability standards, and manage enterprise observability platforms (primarily Datadog) to ensure system reliability, compliance, and scalability, focusing on end-to-end user journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the Enterprise Observability Strategy, roadmap, and maturity model.
• Oversee incident detection and alerting processes to ensure timely response.
• Lead and contribute to Post-Incident Reviews (PIRs), offering observability insights and identifying monitoring/alerting gaps.
• Support incident triage and investigation using logs, metrics, and traces to accelerate root cause analysis.
• Define and maintain observability standards, frameworks, and maturity models across the organisation.
• Establish and run an Observability Community of Practice, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.
• Ensure compliance with internal audit, security, and data privacy policies, embedding observability into governance practices.
• Deliver reporting in compliance with CPS230, ensuring regulatory obligations are met.
