About the job:

• Maintain high standards by thoroughly cleaning guest rooms, including making beds with precision, vacuuming floors, and cleaning bathrooms to ensure a pristine environment.
• Complete cleaning tasks efficiently within the hours allocated by the company.
• Collaborating with team members to meet daily cleaning targets and operational goals.
• Adhering to safety protocols and environmental standards.
• Using specialised cleaning equipment and products safely and effectively - with all training and tools provided.

Hourly Rates (excluding superannuation):

Monday - Friday: $32.31 per hour
Saturday: $38.78 per hour
Sunday: $45.24 per hour

Oaks Sunshine Coast Oasis Resort are looking for an enthusiastic and service-driven Food & Beverage Team Leader to join our team on a full-time basis.

This is a dual role, where you will be working across both our restaurant and our conference space. This position is to support the smooth operation of our food and beverage outlets while leading a small team to deliver exceptional guest experiences. The successful candidate will oversee daily service, mentor team members, and ensure all service standards are met across breakfast, lunch, and dinner shifts.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Lead and support the F&B team to ensure professional, efficient, & high-quality service.
• Lead and support the conference & events team to ensure smooth operation and flow of events.
• Assist with taking guest orders accurately and ensuring guest preferences are accommodated.
• Demonstrate menu knowledge and confidently recommend food and beverage options to guests.
• Oversee the serving of food and beverages, maintaining professional standards and guest satisfaction.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve guest concerns promptly.
• Coach and mentor team members, providing guidance, support, and training as required.
• Assist with rostering, shift coordination, and workflow planning to maintain smooth operations.
• Ensure compliance with RSA, hygiene, and workplace health and safety standards.
• Support management with reporting, stock management, and service improvement initiatives.

Shift Details (subject to change):

• Breakfast, lunch, and dinner shifts
• Rotating roster with the flexibility to work weekends to support the functions and events
• Split shifts may be required on some days

Monday - Friday: $28.12 per hour
Saturday: $35.15 per hour
Sunday: $42.18 per hour

Oaks Sunshine Coast Oasis Resort are looking for a passionate and driven Conference & Events Coordinator on a part-time basis to join the property. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys bringing events to life, and takes pride in delivering seamless experiences from initial enquiry to event completion.

As the Conference & Events Coordinator, you will be the key point of contact for clients, working closely with internal departments to ensure every conference, meeting, and event runs smoothly and exceeds expectations. 

The role includes the following responsibilities:

• Manage conference and event enquiries from initial contact through to post-event follow-up.
• Prepare function sheets, contracts, and event orders with strong attention to detail.
• Qualify each event proposal, accepting those which match availabilities and are in line with conference marketing and strategy plan.
• Assist with promotional ideas to improve the event planning and implementation process.
• Be present during events to ensure smooth delivery and handle any last-minute changes.
• Assist with negotiations for space contracts and book event space, arrange food and beverage, order supplies and audiovisual equipment, ensure appropriate décor (florals, linens, colour schemes) to meet the quality expectations of Minor Hotels.
• Maintain a strong understanding of the hotel property and its food and beverage features to actively sell to clients.

Shift Details:

• Part-time role with a minimum of 20 hours per week (3 to 4 days per week)
• Roster includes some evening and weekend shifts, depending on event requirements
• Immediate start available
