Job Summary

The Assistant Warehouse Manager supports the Warehouse Manager in overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient inventory management, timely order fulfillment, and maintaining safety and quality standards. This role involves supervising staff, coordinating logistics, and improving operational processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in managing day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch
• Supervise warehouse staff and ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure proper stock control and accuracy
• Coordinate with procurement, sales, and logistics teams for smooth operations
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and warehouse procedures
• Conduct regular stock counts and audits
• Handle documentation related to shipments, deliveries, and inventory records
• Assist in training and onboarding of new warehouse staff
• Identify areas for process improvement to increase efficiency and reduce costs
• Support in resolving operational issues and customer complaints

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in warehouse or logistics operations
• Prior supervisory experience is an advantage
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Good leadership and communication skills
• Familiar with warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Working Conditions

• Based in warehouse environment
• May require lifting, standing for long hours, and weekend work
