You will manage FMCG buying and merchandising activities, focusing on supplier management, negotiation, and category performance. Support e-commerce operations and digital merchandising to enhance online retail effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- Manage supplier relationships to secure favorable terms and ensure product availability for FMCG categories
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers to optimize cost efficiency and margin performance
- Analyze category performance data to identify trends and opportunities for growth within FMCG and related retail sectors
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align buying strategies with business goals and customer needs
- Support e-commerce operations by applying digital merchandising techniques to enhance online product presentation and sales
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform buying decisions and maintain competitive advantage
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience in e-commerce operations and digital merchandising within retail environments
- Proven background in FMCG buying and merchandising with strong negotiation skills
- Exposure to online retail platforms and digital sales channels
Job Details:
- 5-day work week
- Working hours: 9am to 6.30pm
- Location: Tampines Street 92
- Salary range: S$4500-S$5000
